Wow; Mixed Florals Reverse Image Technique with window sheets!

I'm continuing to share our July team swaps featuring window sheets.

Look at the stunning card made by Paula. For her card swap she made a Reverse Image technique cased from Kylie Bertucci.

The stamp & die bundle is called Mixed Florals and can be seen here.

She used Crushed Curry for her card base and Floral Impressions designer paper. I'm so impressed by her gorgeous coloring with the Blends markers! What pretty shading she achieved!

Below you can see how she also colored the reverse side so when you flipped up the card front it's just as pretty on the inside! So neat. I also love the diagonal slant on the front.

The card opens to reveal 3 layers!

Measurements:

Crushed Curry card base- 1 at 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 5 1/2", another at 7 1/4" X 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2" (cut on the diagonal) and two extra slat pieces to cover both front & inside of the card.
DSP – 4" X 5 1/4" X 3 pieces
White inside 3 1/2" X 4 3/4"; plus die-cuts

I think it's a fun layout and quick too. I decided to use the designer paper from the Boho Indigo product medley. I love these tones of blue!

Welcome cards made with scraps & Field & Flower DSP

This week I've been sharing cards made with this beautiful Flower & Field DSP; it's free with any $50 order in February during Sale-a-Bration. See it here.

I created a colorful group of cards for my new Team members last week. I had a bunch of random pieces in the pack of Designer Paper and I decided to challenge myself to use mostly extras & just create!

Field & Flower Mystery Card

I am holding a mystery card challenge with me Team. I send them a variety of pieces in a card base and challenge them to use them to create a card. They can cut up or punch, or add anything to create an original card.

This week I'm sharing a few projects with the pretty Field & Flower DSP (seen here) from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. It's currently free with any $50 order US.

Here is what I came up with for my Mystery card:

In their packet I added a White card base, a large piece of Flower & Field designer series paper, a strip of Bumblebee CS, punched Black & white pieces and some Bumblebee ribbon. I decided to add a few stitched flowers from the Pierced Bloom dies (seen here). Look at this amazing stitching!

The Black center is from the Perennial Petal dies (seen here) however. I love that cute die! The greeting is from the Happy Thoughts stamp set.

To create this angled piece I started with a 4" X 4 1/4" piece of designer paper and just cut it in half on the diagonal. It really doesn't matter what your angle is. Then I added a strip of Bumblebee CS underneath the diagonal cut. So easy!
