World card makingday Save

Did you know that World Card Making Day is on October 1st this year and Stampin' Up! has a free event for all crafters!?

  • Join in on 1 October to celebrate World Card Making Day. During this free virtual event we will come together as a crafting community to do what we all love—make cards! 
  • World Card Making Day is all about making beautiful, heartfelt cards. During the event, we’ll walk you through several projects, and you’ll create the cards right along with us. You’ll end up with new project ideas and some stunning new cards!
  • To make the most of this experience, you can order the Cottage Rose Bundle from the 2022–2023 Annual Catalog, the Cottage Wreaths Bundle from the July–December 2022 Mini Catalog, or the Warm Welcome Bundle, which you can get early from the January–June 2023 Mini Catalog! More details:

  1. A few days before the event, we will add a shareable link to stampinup.com where you can access the event.  
  2. We will provide a list of products you’ll need before the event. We will also provide a Project Measurements PDF before the event. Following the event, we will post an Instructions PDF so that you can recreate the projects we made on World Card Making Day.
  3. Purchasing the bundles will add to the fun, but it isn’t necessary to join in. We want everyone to get excited about card making and see how easy, fun, and rewarding it can be. Anyone is welcome to use their own supplies during the event or just watch for the entertainment factor.  
  4. This event will be recorded and you’ll be able to access it on the platform after the live event.

  • Prized Peony bundle; wow!

    Look at these gorgeous cards Mary and Karen made for a Flowerbug's Team swap last month.  They both used items in the new Peony suite seen here.

    Mary's colors are Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam with Gray Granite.  She sponged a bit of Petal Pink onto the Peony petals.  The other products here are the new Vellum square doilies and Elegant Faceted Gems. that designer paper is from the In Good Taste package seen here.

    Karen used the Peony Garden designer paper as a background and the new Magenta Madness card stock with Pear Pizzazz & Old Olive for leaves.  That pretty scalloped edge is included in the Peony dies.  

    You might think it's difficult to put the peony flower together, but Stampin' Up! made it super easy.  It's just 4 die-cuts and they layer easily.  You match up the bottom edge of each die-cut for a perfect fit each time.  I made a video of it here on FB.

  • Fabulous Artistry Blooms; July’s card kit to go

    I was torn on which Designer Paper to use for July's card kit to go so I asked my FB followers for their opinion.  Artistry Blooms won with the most votes. 

    I totally enjoyed making these bright, unique cards with this striking designer paper!  It's just amazing!  Look!

    I created 5 cards and made two of each for a total of 10 eye catching cards including two unique fun-fold designs. Here's how my kits to go work:
