World card makingday Save

Did you know that World Card Making Day is on October 1st this year and Stampin' Up! has a free event for all crafters!? 

Click here to read more about it.  Here are some of the details:

  • Join in on 1 October to celebrate World Card Making Day. During this free virtual event we will come together as a crafting community to do what we all love—make cards! 
  • World Card Making Day is all about making beautiful, heartfelt cards. During the event, we’ll walk you through several projects, and you’ll create the cards right along with us. You’ll end up with new project ideas and some stunning new cards!
  • To make the most of this experience, you can order the Cottage Rose Bundle from the 2022–2023 Annual Catalog, the Cottage Wreaths Bundle from the July–December 2022 Mini Catalog, or the Warm Welcome Bundle, which you can get early from the January–June 2023 Mini Catalog! If you want, you could even order all three bundles! The Warm Welcome Bundle will be available for purchase starting 1 September*.

More details:

  1. A few days before the event, we will add a shareable link to stampinup.com where you can access the event.  
  2. We will provide a list of products you’ll need before the event. We will also provide a Project Measurements PDF before the event. Following the event, we will post an Instructions PDF so that you can recreate the projects we made on World Card Making Day.
  3. Purchasing the bundles will add to the fun, but it isn’t necessary to join in. We want everyone to get excited about card making and see how easy, fun, and rewarding it can be. Anyone is welcome to use their own supplies during the event or just watch for the entertainment factor.  
  4. This event will be recorded and you’ll be able to access it on the platform after the live event.

  • Two February Card kits; first is the serenely beautiful Sand & Sea

    Here are the beautiful set of cards featuring the Sand & Sea suite for my February cards kit to go.

    Each month I create a unique cards kit around a group of current Stampin' Up! products.  You receive around $20 in products and it costs just $28 with the pre-cut kit and PDF tutorial!  

    Besides the pre-cut supplies for 10 cards (including the punched and die-cut pieces) you'll receive the following:

    • 1/2 pkg of Sand & Sea designer paper (6" X 12")
    • Blushing Bride & White twine
    • a share of new Opal round gems
    • a share of adhesive die-cut shells
    • the PDF tutorial which includes measurements, supplies, photos and step by step directions. 

    **This kit does not include stamped images.  I used the Friends are like Seashells stamp set; you could use what you have or add it on to your kit. If you want either the stamp set or the bundle you can add them to your kit at an extra 10% discount! And you get a Sale-a-Bration choice then too!

    *You'll also need your own ink. I used the following colors: Blushing Bride, Sahara Sand, Misty Moonlight & Pear Pizzazz.

  • Berry Delightful Fun Fold cards with video

    Here are the cards we made at my January Card Clubs featuring the Berry Delightful bundle in the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  Everyone loved how easy this fold is!

    I gave them the choice of either blueberry or raspberry cards; this stamp set and designer paper work beautifully with both!  It also pairs fabulously with the Sweet Strawberry bundle too! 

    I used Rich Razzleberry & Pacific Point card stock and ink on these cards; plus some Garden Green ink.

    See that gorgeous stitching around the inside layer?  That's the new Stitched with Whimsy dies. They stitch but don't cut.  There are 6 assorted sizes in this set.  You can see it here.
