World card makingday Save

Did you know that World Card Making Day is on October 1st this year and Stampin' Up! has a free event for all crafters!? 

Click here to read more about it.  Here are some of the details:

  • Join in on 1 October to celebrate World Card Making Day. During this free virtual event we will come together as a crafting community to do what we all love—make cards! 
  • World Card Making Day is all about making beautiful, heartfelt cards. During the event, we’ll walk you through several projects, and you’ll create the cards right along with us. You’ll end up with new project ideas and some stunning new cards!
  • To make the most of this experience, you can order the Cottage Rose Bundle from the 2022–2023 Annual Catalog, the Cottage Wreaths Bundle from the July–December 2022 Mini Catalog, or the Warm Welcome Bundle, which you can get early from the January–June 2023 Mini Catalog! If you want, you could even order all three bundles! The Warm Welcome Bundle will be available for purchase starting 1 September*.

More details:

  1. A few days before the event, we will add a shareable link to stampinup.com where you can access the event.  
  2. We will provide a list of products you’ll need before the event. We will also provide a Project Measurements PDF before the event. Following the event, we will post an Instructions PDF so that you can recreate the projects we made on World Card Making Day.
  3. Purchasing the bundles will add to the fun, but it isn’t necessary to join in. We want everyone to get excited about card making and see how easy, fun, and rewarding it can be. Anyone is welcome to use their own supplies during the event or just watch for the entertainment factor.  
  4. This event will be recorded and you’ll be able to access it on the platform after the live event.

  • Quick Hey Chick card

    Last week I received this cute card from Donna from the Stampin' Up! home office for reaching a sales milestone.  I think it's sweet & simple!  Two stamps and a bit of coloring. 

    It's one of those cards you could make a bunch of to share with friends for just about any reason.

    This card is a great reminder that we don't have to always layer everything evenly. Choose some random pieces from your leftover pieces (that coordinate of course) and place them on the card at will.  Play around until you're happy and the card feels balanced.  

    The little 'hey chick' greeting and rhinestones add the perfect finishing touch!

  • Butterfly Bouquet Cards kit to go or PDF tutorial

    The new Butterfly Bouquet products are incredible and I couldn't wait to make a kit to go with them. They remind me of springtime with the fresh colors & pretty papers. I've been sharing lots of ideas with these items this week.  I hope you've enjoyed them.

    Details:

    • The PDF tutorial includes photos, step by step directions, measurements and a supplies list.  *This is emailed to you immediately upon payment on my Shopify site.

    • You will use your own paper trimmer to cut your Designer paper to complete the cards.  
    • You will need to fussy cut or die-cut a few butterflies from your DSP to use on some cards. Add on the Butterfly Brilliance bundle or the Brilliant Wing dies at an extra 10% discount (over Stampin' Up!'s discount!)
