Waves of Inspiration scene with masking & blending techniques

I made this card for an online swap I participated in last month.  When I create for a swap I tend to make a few different cards and decide which one I'll use for the swap.  Well once I made this one the decision was made!

Although after stamping, masking, blending and sponging over 20 cards I was regretting my decision! But I am proud of it so it was worth my efforts.

This card is part of my Waves of Inspiration kit to go this month.  I share how to make it in the video and it's also part of the pre-cut kit to go as well.

If you're interested in it please message me here by March 17th.

Here's a link to see all of the Waves of the Ocean collection.  Heads up!  The stamp & dies bundle will be in the new catalog but the papers & gems will not!

The Waves of Inspiration kit to go is $82 and includes:

  • Sweet Encircled with Love Valentine’s card

Tracey created this striking card with the Made with Love designer paper:

I love the abstract designer paper pieces she added to her White layer. Then to make sure the greeting was the focal point she added the top square of DSP. Perfect!
This is a great example of taking leftover pieces of coordinating DSP and layering them up. A great way to use scraps!

She used the Encircled with Love stamp set seen here along with the 1 3/4″ & 1 7/8″ circle punches. Her colors include Real Red, Flirty Flamingo with White which she got from the pretty designer paper.

See the Made with Love designer paper here.

Your card inspired me to look at and use my DSP scraps Tracey! Thank you.

  • Triple Z-fold with Friendly Foliage with video & free project sheet

We made this cool card at my Card Clubs in November. I adore the Friendly Foliage bundle!

This fun fold looks difficult but it’s quite deceiving. It’s really so simple to make; I hope you try one! I’m a bit obsessed with this fold!

The Friendly Foliage bundle is a big favorite of many since it came out in our Online store a few months ago.

The designer paper seen below is from the Need for Tweed package which is on the Last Chance List right now and discounted. See it here.

I also used the Branching Out dies for the outer frame. My colors include Very Vanilla, Lost Lagoon & Basic Beige. This soft & soothing color combo really works!

Here is the free project sheet. Click here to download or print it.

And here is the video tutorial for you.

  • Finally! We’re getting a new Stampin’ Positioner!

Stampin’ Up! has created a new Stampin’ Positioner for us! Since they had to take the Stamparatus off the market we’ve been waiting for a new tool for perfect stamping. Well, it’s now here!

As you can see in the photo above it’s a brand new design. It has two clear plates, easy to use magnets and a brand new ‘press’ type mechanism.

Right now for those who are a Demonstrator, it’s available to pre-order until February 2nd for $49. After that, the new Stampin’ Positioner will be added to the Starter Kit FREE in February!

The cost of the Starter Kit is $99 and includes $125 in product of your choice. But in February, they’ll add in the new Stampin’ Positioner to ALL Demo’s starter kits!

This is super exciting for us Demo’s now and also for those that join in February!

It sounds like the general population will have to wait to get theirs…. but they promise it will be available sometime later this year to everyone.
