Two gorgeous cards with the Two-Tone Floral bundle with video

Here are a few more of the cards I shared in last week's FB Live that featured the Two-Tone Floral suite seen here. Click here to watch the video.

This first card shows off the large, gorgeous detailed die in the Two-Tone Floral dies.  Can you see the shimmery paper under it?

That pretty Gold paper is part of the Fine Shimmer Specialty paper in the Spring catalog.  It has 2 each of 3 colors including Gold, Soft Succulent & Fresh Freesia.  See it here.

I stamped a few flowers and leaves from the bundle and die-cut them out with the coordinating dies.  Then I added a 1" strip of Soft Succulent to anchor the flowers and the die-cut greeting onto.  The greeting is from the Framed Florets stamp set.

Below is a photo of the bundle; it's a 2-step stamp set which means there are two images that match and are meant to be stamped over each other.  One is a solid image and the other is a detailed image.  You can stamp both with the same ink, the solid in a lighter hue (stamp off once first) and the detailed image over it without stamping off.

Some people stamp the solid image first and add the detailed over it.  I found it easier to stamp the detailed first as it's a darker ink and more difficult to see through.  Try it both ways to see what works for you.

This pretty bundle qualifies you to receive a free Sale-a-Bration choice if purchased during February. See all of the choices here.

Next is a gorgeous card featuring this same bundle but also adding in the Fancy Flora DSP. See it here The patterns remind me of palette painting and the color combos are amazing!  The Stampin' Up! artists are incredibly talented.

I added a bit of the new Navy Bordered ribbon from the Spring catalog and a stitched circle die-cut from the Stylish Shapes dies.  These dies are so popular they cannot keep them in stock.  They are currently in low inventory 'again'!

  • Soft Seedlings with the new Sale-a-Bration cards & envelopes

On yesterday's FB Live I shared 3 cards featuring the new Soft Seedlings stamp set.  The first two featured the new FREE Sale-a-Bration cards & envelopes too.

These Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam cards & envelopes are a free choice from our new Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here.  I love SAB when we can all get something free with our orders!  Spend a minimum of $50 and pick something absolutely free!

These cards & envelopes are one of my top picks in the catalog. You can use them for lots of cards in the future!

The package includes 20 envelopes and 10 each of Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam card bases.  Today's project features the Soft Sea Foam card base.

You might wonder how I achieved the two-toned look of the leaf. I stamped it first in Soft Sea Foam and removed a bit of the ink on the edges with a sponge dauber.  Then I added Pool Party ink to those same areas. Huff and stamp!   Watch the video here to see how it's done.

There is a vellum leaf on the stamped leaf for both texture and shimmer.  I sponged the punched leaf (Bough punch), sponged a bit of color and curled the leaves.  Lastly I added Wink of Stella to both leaves for a pretty shimmer effect.

I trimmed off 1" along the bottom edge of the card base and adhered it to the inside.

Then I cut a white scalloped edge using the Contour Scalloped dies.  I textured the 1 1/4" Pool Party card stock strip with the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder seen here.  I LOVE this folder!  I attached the embossed layer to the scalloped White trim and then adhered to the card front.

The 'hello' is stamped on a die-cut from the Tea Cup dies and added over two bows; one with Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon and another with White twine.

Click on the video below to watch how it's made along with two other cards using this stamp set.

  • A beautiful Texture Chic card class in the mail, with PDF option too!

I did a poll in my Facebook group to decide which designer paper to feature in my July card kit to go.  Texture Chic was a top favorite and looking at the finished cards I can see why!

The cards came together wonderfully and include a few fun folds that I know people enjoy making & giving.  I used the Peaceful Moments stamp set along with these inks: Soft Succulent, Blushing Bride, Pool Party & Soft Suede.

When designing my card kits I like to use mostly greetings that most people can easily substitute.  Usually the designer paper, layouts, fun folds &/or accessories are the star of the cards.

The Texture Chic specialty DSP is filled with gold accents and gorgeous printed textures. Click here to see it.

If you want to make these cards you have a few choices:

    1. Get the PDF tutorial only here.  $15
    2. Or choose the pre-cut card kit here. $28 plus shipping

    Here's how it works:

The pre-cut card kit includes $20 in product and you receive the PDF tutorial free.  It's the best deal.

You'll receive 1/2 pkg of the Texture Chic specialty DSP (6" X 12"), a share of the Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed dots and 3/8" shimmer Gold ribbon.  You'll have plenty of supplies left to make even more cards!  The kit includes all pre-cut pieces including die-cuts or punched pieces.  It does not include textured embossing.

The kit and tutorial include 2 each of 5 card designs. The PDF tutorial includes photos, measurements, supplies and step & step directions.  See both here on my shop as well as a few other kits I have available.

What you need to complete these cards:

    1. a paper trimmer, adhesives & paper snips
    2. Inks and stamp greetings
    3. Die-cut & embossing machine to add texture to some layers

These cards are absolutely beautiful and can be used for many occasions.
