Top reasons to choose Paper Pumpkin:

If you’re looking for a fun and simple paper crafting this might be your best option! It’s fun, creative, and handmade projects bring joy to you and to others. And nothing makes paper crafting as fun, easy, and creative as Paper Pumpkin!

EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN A CRAFT BOX

One issue crafters often run into is feeling overwhelmed by their project. Lack of inspiration, proper supplies and crafty know-how might discourage you from even starting a project and unlocking your creative potential!

This never happens with a craft subscription box from Paper Pumpkin. That’s because everything you need for your project is included in your monthly art box. All you have to do is open it up and get started. You’ll be able to make cards, treat bags, gift boxes and so much more with your monthly art box subscription.

BUILD YOUR STAMP COLLECTION

Among the items in each Paper Pumpkin monthly craft kit is a reusable rubber stamp set. So after you’re done creating your monthly craft, you’ll have valuable stamps to add to your collection. You even get a free clear stamping block with your first craft box. Plus, you get a different color ink pad every month as well.

PRINT & VIDEO INSTRUCTION MAKE CRAFTING EASY

Even the craftiest among us worry that we’ll have trouble understanding how to do a project, or that we’ll make a mistake. You never have to worry about that with Paper Pumpkin! That’s because not only does each monthly arts and crafts box come with clear, easy-to-understand printed instructions, but we also upload a video to YouTube so you can watch a professional guide you through the craft.

KIDS CAN HELP WITH MONTHLY CRAFT KITS

Although Paper Pumpkin makes craft boxes for adults, they can be fun for the whole family! Use your monthly craft box subscription to introduce your kids to a fun and creative outlet. It’s truly a gift to instill a love of crafting and creativity in kids. You’ll be thrilled to see how their skills grow over time. One day your kids might have their own monthly craft subscription box!

  • Spotlight on Nature – sneak peak of the fabulous new bundle

Look at the beautiful card my friend & team member Candy sent me last week.  One of our team challenges was to send RAK cards.  Random Acts of Kindness.  I was very grateful to receive one from her!

It's made with a new bundle in the 2024-25 Annual Catalog by Stampin' Up!. It's called Spotlight on Nature.  It includes floral, leaves and butterflies along with pretty sentiments.  And an amazing set of detailed & texture circle dies.

Notice her softly sponged background around the flowers & leaves. She used Balmy Blue, Old Olive & Calypso Coral here, coloring in her images with Blends markers.  Note that Olive circle die-cut – you can spy it in the photo below.

We're going to love these dies!!

Demonstrators were able to pre-order this gorgeous bundle in April but everyone can order it after May 1st. In fact you could add it to your Starter kit too.

I'll be sharing more projects with this bundle soon. Thanks for the fabulous card Candy!!

  • See how the Josephs Coat Technique is done; with video & free project sheet

Here's another project made on last week's Live video; it's the Josephs Coat technique using the new, upcoming Leaf Collection stamp.

That greeting stamp & scalloped oval die-cut are from the new Unbounded Love bundle from the upcoming 2024 Annual Catalog. I showed how to do this technique in the video here.  I also have a free project sheet with directions.

    Here are the steps:

    1. Sponge ink all over a neutral piece of card stock – Pretty Peacock, new Summer Splash and lastly Granny Apple Green.
    2. Wipe off any excess ink with a tissue to remove moisture.  Swipe with an embossing buddy.
    3. Ink your stamp in Versamark ink. Heat emboss with Clear embossing powder.
    4. Use a water-based ink pad like Memento Black and rub or tap the ink over it all.  This is called 'Direct to Paper'.
    5. With a damp tissue or paper towel, wipe off excess ink from the embossed area. It will not stay on the embossed area.
    6. Finish your card as you'd like.

I inked the stamp again in a few colors – Granny Apple Green & Summer Splash, and fussy cut some leaves out for accents. Dies used above include Something Fancy & Stylish Shapes.

The card below features an emboss resist technique.  Same colors but the steps are different.

    1. First I stamped using Versamark ink onto White card stock and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
    2. Then I added ink over the clear embossing; using Blending Brushes. Inks include: Summer Splash, Pretty Peacock and Granny Apple Green.  *This must be water-based ink!
    3. Use a damp tissue or paper towel to wipe off excess ink that will not stick to the embossed areas. Done!

The greeting is from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set (online exclusive) and the tags are from the Something Fancy dies (carrying over).

Which card do you prefer above?  Left or right?

Below is the video on how I made this card along with a few resist techniques featuring new Annual Catalog products. I hope you watch it AND subscribe to my YouTube channel too.
