Spotlight on Nature unique Z-fold card with video & free project sheet

I shared this unique & easy fun fold card on last week's Live video.

It doesn't look like a fun fold card does it?  I featured it at my May Card Clubs.  I love the way the detailed die is popped up on Dimensionals which shows off the die-cut pattern. There's a simply trick to stamp over the die-cut after you cut out the die shape; watch the video to learn how. 

It features three new In Colors and the Spotlight on Nature bundle. The colors include Pretty in Pink, Shy Shamrock & Peach Pie. I colored in the butterfly & flowers with Pretty in Pink & Peach Pie blends.  Want to know how to do this?  Watch the video here or below. I love combining two colors like this!

I'm calling it a Z-fold because the inside White layer is folded like a 'Z'. It connects the card front and the card base & opens like this:

  I have a few more swaps to share with you today.  These are all from our newest Online Exclusive products. 

  First up is a pretty floral card from Susan Campfield. She used the Happy Hibiscus bundle.

  This bundle includes a Hybrid embossing folder that includes dies that coordinate with the folder!  It's so cool. You can see it here in my store. 

  In the photo below you can see the die-cut images that are textured. This is done when the die is inserted into the embossing folder with the card stock.  Yes; it is incredible!

  The next few cards feature the Marbled Elegance suite: 

  This first pretty card is made by Natalie Travis who made the focus of her card that gorgeous golden stitched heart.

  That pretty heart is die-cut with the Hearts of Elegance dies from our new Brushed Metallic paper in both Gold & Silver. See that here. 

  Her measurements are simple – the DSP is 4" X 3", a strip of Cherry Cobbler is 4 1/4" X 5/8" on a Pretty in Pink card base. 

  Next is a gorgeous card made by Sandy Carlson:

  Her colors are Melon Mambo with White and the same beautiful Marbled Elegance specialty DSP. She also used the new Hearts of Elegance bundle seen here.

  Two punched circles and a 3 1/2" square of DSP show off the elements in this Otter suite. The colors include Balmy blue, Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Early Espresso.

  This second swap with the Otterly Amazing suite is made by Tracy Jacobs. 

  Save

  She created a fun fold by cutting up to the 5 1/2" score line at 1". That layer is adhered to the back of the card base so only the left card front opens. Simple but 'amazing' too!  It really shows off the playful scenes in the Otterly Adorable DSP.  See the DSP here.

  I joined an online swap with my Demonstrator friends and knew you'd like to see them. They feature our newest Online Exclusive products.

  First up I'm sharing cards from the Perfect Pairs stamp set. This one was made by my sweet & fun friend Selene Kempton:

  What a cute layout! She used Crumb Cake with Petal Pink and Early Espresso. The White square is 2 1/2" and the other two are 2 3/4". Sweet & simple! The embossing folder is Dashing Designs from the Annual Catalog.
