If your style is clean and simple I have the perfect card layout for you! Look at these gorgeous cards!

I stamped a few of the images from the On the Horizon stamp set here. I used the birds a lot! They add a peaceful 'movement' to the card.

I used a version of my 5 at a time template for the card stock layers for these cards. I use this often for the inside of my cards; especially if I need a white piece. When making multiple cards it sure is nice to get 5 pieces from an 8 1/2" X 11" sheet instead of just 4. I get a lot of people who ask me about this template. If you like it I suggest you save it and either print it out or save on your computer for easy reference.

If you look closely at the cards with the trio of trees on them you'll see a 'watery' reflection. It's so easy with this New Horizon Designer Series Paper. I shared how in the video here.

Here's how this simple reflection is done.

Stamp the tree on the horizon line using full ink.
Do not ink again.
Turn the stamp upside down and simply stamp under the first image. Easy, instant reflection.

White card base 4 1/4" X 11" scored in half at 5 1/2"
Designer paper 3" X 4 1/2"
Card stock layer 3 1/8" X 4 5/8"
greeting strips 5/8" X 3"

2 cute cards with the Pampered Pets bundle

I featured the Playful Pets bundle when I made these two cards at Tuesday's Facebook Live this week. This suite is absolutely adorable!

Here's a close up of the first card. The texture of the new Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder is so neat. It's subtle but still quite noticeable with a unique texture.

This card shows just a peak of the cute Playful Pets designer series paper between the textured layers.

See the paw prints on the bottom right? That is a die in the Pets dies. I placed a scrap of Black CS behind it to show it off. You can see the entire Playful Pets suite here.

The dog is cut from the Playful Pets DSP; the Pet dies match some of the images in the paper! I added a bit of the Playful Pets trim for a collar and a bone from the Pet Trinkets. Below are the measurements for this card:
- Real Red 5 ½” X 8 ½”, 1” X 5 ½”, 2 ¼” X 5 ½” textured pieces
- 1 ¼” X 5 ½” Designer Series Paper
Other products used: Tasteful Textile folder, Stitched Shapes and Layering Circles dies

The second card is a unique fold where the Black piece is the full back of the card and the Real Red is scored for the card opening. It's a fun and unique card that works well with our Designer paper. Whether you use 6 X 6" or 12 X 12" paper it all works without much waste when cutting.

Celebrate Sunflowers Triple Panel Card with video!

I made this card on Facebook Live last night on my weekly Monday night 'Stamp with Me'. It's such a fun technique!

I love blues and browns together and chose to use Just Jade, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Pool Party with the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set (seen here). What do you think of this color combination? One of my favorite things about creating is coming up with unique color combos.

I have some great tips on doing this technique.
- Start out with three colors of card stock measuring 3 1/2" X 4 1/2".
- Cut these into three strips 1 1/2" wide.
- Lay them together and adhere a piece of copy paper to the back side to keep them held together while stamping.
- Stamp large and small images all over the three colors of card stock with Soft Suede ink. *Always stamp the largest image first!
- Or use Designer Series Paper instead of stamps!
- Adhere to the Early Espresso layer (4 3/4" X 5"). Then to the full 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" card base.
The pool party greeting strips are either 3/4" or 1" wide by about 4" long. I used the new Pick a Punch (seen here) on the ends and added a thin strip (about 1/4") of Early Espresso card stock under it as an accent. I finished it with a double bow made with our Linen Thread.
