Potions & Spells swap cards for Halloween inspiration

Today I'm sharing two fun cards made by my Flowerbug's team. They both feature the new Potions & Spells bundle seen here in the online store.

Robin made this first one; she's a master at sponging.

Don't you love her sponged background? She placed a post-it circle onto her White CS before sponging, creating the moon, which is a great place to add the sentiment. It shows off the die-cut cauldron wonderfully.

Click on the photo below to see it in the store.  Look at the neat die-cuts and images in this bundle:

Next is a card made by Paula who also used this neat bundle.

Her colors include Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie, Black and Gold.

Notice the neat texture of the cauldron. She inked the embossing folder before texturing it.

Here's a list of the products she used:

  • So Swirly embossing folder
  • Sketched Plaid background stamp seen here
  • Exposed Brick embossing folder
  • Wink of Stella on the bubbles & oozing slime

And look how the cauldron opens!!

She scored her card stock before die-cutting so it would have an opening.  So cool!!

I'll share more Team swaps next week.

  • Exciting Times card with a new In Color

Here’s a neat card that showcases a bunch of new products from the 2026 Summer catalog by Stampin’ Up!.

This is our new ‘Golden Glow’ in color with Blueberry Bushel and White. I added white centers to the small embossed daisies with our new White Gel Pen.

It features a ton of new products which I’ll list here:

I trimmed off one inch from the card front to reveal the pretty DSP on the inside edge. I originally created this for a possible swap card; but it didn’t make the cut. Do you see the blooper/mistake here?

Thanks for stopping in today; I appreciate it!

Below are the two new kits in June!

  • Cheerfully Inked card kit to go; reserve yours soon!

Because we’re moving to Bismarck in July I will have just one card kit to go in June. I will be busy packing and moving so I’m cutting back on blog posts, videos and creating for a few weeks.

This kit to go features the Inked Occasions Paper Pumpkin kit. Look how colorful and beautiful they are?! Of course I changed up the original kit to create these:

I have a small, limited supply of these kits!

You can reserve your kit here; they’re $31 for all 12 cards with envelopes. It includes all die-cuts and layers plus a share of pretty sequins. You’ll receive the PDF tutorial immediately after purchase; check your junk folder.

I also have a PDF tutorial option if you already own this Paper Pumpkin kit. It’s $16. See that here.

But you can browse my many other kits to go here. Quite a few are reduced in price to clear them out before I move.

    June Specials:
