Playful Patterns cards kit to go; time limited!

The August cards kit to go features the fun & unique Playful Patterns designer paper.  It's perfect for so many happy occasions.

I created 10 cards for this cards kit to go in the beautiful array of colors in the designer paper.

Aren't they neat?!  This paper totally inspired me to create fun, playful cards.  I only used a few inks too!  Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana, and Crushed Curry! 

This kit to go includes $20 in product and the 10 cards pre-cut also.  Here's what's included:

  • 1/2 package of the 6" Playful Patterns designer paper
  • 1 full package of the Playful Patterns ribbon combo pack
  • 1/2 pkg. of the Playful Patterns Resin Dots
  • the 10 pre-cut cards including punched & die-cut pieces
  • the pdf written tutorial sent in an email

I used the Many Mates stamp set to finish the cards.  If you'd like to add it on you can get it at 10% off with the kit.

    Sometimes you can let the designer paper do all of the work.  Look at this classy, beautiful card I made with the True Love Designer Paper!

    I used Daffodil Delight Blends marker to color in the flowers; coloring mainly on the printed lines on the flowers. Granny Apple Green for the leaves. Simple & quick! 

    I also made two more striking cards with this paper and the Pretty Perennials bundle. You can watch the Live video below.

    • Card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • Designer Paper 3" X 4"
    • Black layer 3 1/4" X 4 1/4", greeting strip is 1/2" X 3 3/4"

  • Easiest Shaker card you’ll ever make!

    Giving an interactive card makes the card extra special like shakers, spinners or fun folds.  But they can be time consuming or a lot of work.  

    Touch of Ink shaker Save

    I used the free 'A Touch of Ink' stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  You can see it here.  That background was made with our Blending Brushes and Bermuda Bay & Calypso Coral ink.

    A TOUCH OF INK PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET (ENGLISH) Save

    This type of shaker card is truly easy; really!  Besides the stamped element you need three basic things:

    1.  A clear envelope
    2. Strong adhesive
    3. Sequins, beads or tiny punched pieces

    Insert your stamped card stock into the clear envelope, fold the excess envelope over to the back and seal with adhesive leaving one end open.  Add your fun filler and seal closed.

    The pretty sequins in this card are the Woven Threads sequins in the annual catalog on page 157.

    I made a video in December on making one of these shaker cards.  Even though it's a Christmas card it's the same technique. Here it is:

    I used both the dies and the stamp set on my front panels.  I also stamped the greeting on the inside layer on the bottom left card.

    Measurements:
    Main card 4 1/4" X 7 1/2" scored at 5 1/2" *save the extra piece for the front layer ( 3 1/2" X 2 3/4"
    White 4" X 5 1/4", 3 1/4" X 2 1/2"
    DSP 1 3/4” X 4”.
     
    The neat thing about this card is that you can use what you cut off of the main card as your layer on the front flap.  Love that!
