Petal Park Sneak Peak from the Spring Catalog

This week I've been sharing some of the cards I made for online swaps I joined.  I hope you're enjoying the sneak peaks!

Today I'm sharing a card made with a new stamp & punch bundle called Petal Park.  It includes a new flower trio punch from the Spring catalog.

I chose to use the new Regency Park 6 X 6" designer paper; that's where I got the color combination of Balmy Blue, Night of Navy and Mango Melody.  I love them together!

Measurements:

  • The card base is 7 1/2" X 5 1/2".  (I cut off 1" from a traditional 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" card base)
  • The designer paper is 1" X 5 1/4" on the inside right edge.
  • white panel is 2 3/4" X 3 3/4"
  • Navy is 3" X 4" and the Mango strip is 1" X 4".
  • The slanted die-cut greeting is from the Something Fancy dies

In the stamp set there are two sets of flowers – solid and outline.  Plus two sets of leave images as well; outline and solid.  I used both of the flower images, stamping them in Mango Melody & Balmy Blue.  Then just the outline leaves for a lighter background.  I did add some of the small dots in Mango all over the flowers & leaves.

I curled the petals after punching so they had a bit more dimension to them.  I added pearls to the centers.

The greetings are from another new stamp set called Kind & Sincere.  It has both large and small greetings so you can mix & match your words.  I love this one!

Stay tuned for another sneak peak tomorrow!

  • Do you save your scraps? Look what I did with mine!

Do you ever save your tiny scraps in the hopes of creating something with them?  When I saw the little petals left from this pretty die-cut I saw a flower in my head.  What do you think?  Would you save them?

This pretty & delicate die-cut is from the Thoughtful Wishes bundle in the new catalog. When I prepped cards for a Team Meeting a few weeks ago I had to save the pieces & try this! It features our new 2024-26 In Color Glimmer specialty paper in the new Annual Catalog by Stampin' Up!  This catalog goes live tomorrow!  May 1st!!

Here are the three cards I made with the finished flowers:

From left to right the colors are Summer Splash, Peach Pie and Petunia Pop.

I glued the petals to a small circle; then added the white center (Zinnia die) over them.
The large leaf die is from the new Thoughtful Wishes bundle & the circles are from the new Spotlight on Nature bundle (the dotted circle is from Everyday Details).

The card above is Petunia Pop color.  The pretty designer paper is our new 2024-26 Designer paper pack. I heat embossed the greeting (Spotlight on Nature set) with White embossing powder onto Black card stock. That pop of Black on a card adds a bit of elegance.

Which is your favorite of these three colors?  Remember you can get in on my new product shares for just 1 more week:  the In Color bundle, designer paper share or an In Color ribbon share. See details below:

  • Spotlight on Nature – sneak peak of the fabulous new bundle

Look at the beautiful card my friend & team member Candy sent me last week.  One of our team challenges was to send RAK cards.  Random Acts of Kindness.  I was very grateful to receive one from her!

It's made with a new bundle in the 2024-25 Annual Catalog by Stampin' Up!. It's called Spotlight on Nature.  It includes floral, leaves and butterflies along with pretty sentiments.  And an amazing set of detailed & texture circle dies.

Notice her softly sponged background around the flowers & leaves. She used Balmy Blue, Old Olive & Calypso Coral here, coloring in her images with Blends markers.  Note that Olive circle die-cut – you can spy it in the photo below.

We're going to love these dies!!

Demonstrators were able to pre-order this gorgeous bundle in April but everyone can order it after May 1st. In fact you could add it to your Starter kit too.

I'll be sharing more projects with this bundle soon. Thanks for the fabulous card Candy!!
