Mountain Air with Stitched Nested Labels

This month I'm featuring the Mountain Air bundle; a fantastic set of stamps and dies that make creating scenes so easy. I created 10 beautiful scenic cards to share with anyone who orders this bundle from me this month.  It's also free to anyone who places an online order.  *Details below

Here's one of my favorites made with the Stitched Nested Label dies and the Stone embossing folder.

You might wonder how I achieved the textured white washed background.  I first textured the Smoky Slate card stock with the Stone 3D embossing folder.  Then I lightly rubbed my White Craft ink pad directly onto the card stock.  Let dry or heat set with an embossing tool.  Such a fabulous look!

Other details:

  • Colors are Smoky Slate, Pretty Peacock, Basic Gray and Whisper White
  • The trees are stamped in Pretty Peacock; one in full strength ink and the other second generation ink (stamped off once). They're die-cut with the Majestic Mountain dies. 
  • The greeting is from the Well Said stamp set (one you can get FREE with the purchase of the Starter kit! #BestDealEver!)

  • Pretty Marvelous Nature card with video tutorial & measurements

    I've seen a few projects with the Marvelous Nature set and was intrigued by it's reverse images. And it's nature so I ordered it.  This card was one of two I made on this week's Live video:

    I chose to use Lost Lagoon with Pretty Peacock. I also added some of the Hello, Irresistible designer paper. This pretty DSP is on sale right now too!  See it here.  

    You may also spy the shimmery strip beside the greeting.  This is our Soft Shimmer 12" X 12" paper pack seen here.  It has 5 rich colors in it.

  • Colorful Inked Botanicals card kit or PDF tutorial option; available now

    The Inked Botanicals designer paper is a favorite of my customers so I chose it as one of my June card kits.  The color combinations and botanical prints are pretty and quite colorful too. 

    Here are the cards I came up with:

    This 10 card kit features the Inked Botanicals 6 X 6" designer paper by Stampin' Up!  There are 5 designs and you'll make 2 of each.

  • Gorgeously Made & Delightfully Eclectic swaps

    I thought I'd share a few swaps I received on the Norway incentive trip. 

    This first card was made by Alanna Wharf. It features the Gorgeously Made bundle seen here.

    This card put me over the edge; now I have to get this bundle!  

    She used the Masterfully Made 12" designer paper seen here (sale price now at $10.62) and the Soft Shimmer 12" combo pack on the leaf die-cut.

    Here's a close-up of this specialty paper and the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder.  I love the simplicity of this card; it really shows off the die-cut, pretty DSP & texture.
