Masterfully Made & Wanted to Say quick card ideas with video tips

And our annual Stampin' Sale is done!  Each June my customers and I host a paper crafting sale – this year we had 30 sellers and we had a fabulous turnout!

That photo was just the stamps for sale; we had so much more!  I wish you could be here for it, but I know it is a long way for some to Minot, ND.  But if you're near me, plan for the weekend after Father's Day. Make a road trip if you can.  
We had one person come from St. Louis and another who was in town visiting from Peru!  They were so glad to be here for this annual event.

Last week I shared three card ideas featuring three products: Masterfully Made designer series paper, Wanted to Say dies and Border Basics dies. Here's one of them:

Wanted to Say Feel better Save

The Masterfully Made designer paper features a torn edge look to a few of the sheets.  I chose this one because of it's beautiful colors.  I added Berry Burst, Fresh Freesia and Azure Afternoon in the die-cuts from the Wanted to Say dies.  This set of dies has a detailed and a layered die for each set of words in the set, plus a bunch of other dies like the flowers I used here. The angled border on the White card base is die-cut with the Basic Borders dies seen here.  I love these and use them often.  You can see them here.  I saved the piece I die-cut and used it on another card.  Here are both of the cards I made, using two different sheets of the Masterfully Made DSP.

  • Snail Mail & Pretty Perennials; a cute combo with video!

    Here are the cards I created for Monday night's FB Live video.  It was 'Stamp with Me' night which occurs on the 2nd & 4th Monday nights.  Join me here!

    When I first saw the Snail Mail designer paper I fell in love!  I had absolutely no idea it would be this cute.  Have you found that to be true?  You see things in a catalog and think they're okay or kind of nice. But then in real life you are amazed?!  This is one of those papers!

    This was inspired by a similar card I received in a swap from my friend Dawn Olchefske.

    My colors were chosen by the adorable Snail Mail DSP – Bermuda Bay, Real Red, Blushing Bride & Pool Party.

    Measurements:

    • Card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • main layer – stamped or textured 4" X 5 1/4"
    • Designer Paper strips 1" X 4"

  • Quick & Easy Easel Calendar cards with video!

    Look at this pretty Easel Calendar card made with brand new products!  

    Paper Blooms easel calendar Save

    I used product from both new Stampin' Up! 2021 catalogs.  The designer paper is called Paper Blooms and it's free with a $50 order during our Sale-a-Bration promotion. Click here to see it.

    The dragonfly & greeting are from the Dragonfly Garden bundle.  It's in the 2021 Spring catalog and you can see it here.

    These easel cards are so simple to make!  The scored, square piece is adhered to the inside bottom of the main card.

    Measurements:

    • card base 4 1/4" X 11"
    • easel 4" square.  Score at 1/2", 2" and 3 3/4"

    Here are a few more I created as gifts for my customers in December.  These calendars can be found online at a few different sites.  Just google 'mini tear off calendar'.

    These are made with designer papers from the Annual Catalog.  The left one above features the Artistic Blooms; the right is the Ornate Garden.  The greeting is from the Friend Like You stamp set.

    The pretty one below is made with the Forever Greenery designer paper. Who wouldn't want one of these at their desk?

  • Beautiful Vine Design with Oh So Ombre with video!

    What do you think of the Oh So Ombre designer paper?  Have you seen it yet?  If not look here.  

    OH SO OMBRE 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER Save

    I created this card with it for a Flowerbug's swap a few weeks ago. The first card features the Bermuda Bay color in the pack.

    Of course I chose to use all new products!  The pretty stitched outline is from the Stitched with Whimsy dies seen here.  I love that they don't actually cut; they just stitch a pretty outline. You can really notice the Ombre since I switched the die when I inserted it back in the window. Watch how in the video. 

    The intricate die is from the Flowering Vines die.  It's part of the bundle with the Vine Design stamp set which is where the greeting images are from.  See them here.
