January Hearts for You alternative card idea

Today I'm sharing an alternative project I made with the January Hearts for You Paper Pumpkin kit.

Everything you see here is in the kit. The only thing I added was a Real Red Blends marker that I used to change the color of the champagne foil heart to Red.  It's fun to experiment a bit!

Below you'll see the 9 projects recommended in the kit.  They're gorgeous as is but I like to show alternative ideas just in case you want to get creative with the products.  It is really fun to change things up at times.

    They recommend using the Seriously the Best stamp set but you can substitute any set you'd like.  I have sure loved using this stamp set though.  I love the nice big greetings in the pretty font!

  • Stock up on your Men’s cards!

    Most of us have lots of feminine, pretty or cute cards but when we need a card for the men in our life we usually have to scramble!  

    Well I've got a quick solution for you.  Use the Come Sail Away Memories & More cards plus the Cards & Envelopes.  You can either purchase my pre-cut 12 cards kit to go with pdf tutorial here or just the tutorial alone here.

  • Delicate Lace Edgelits; marked down & on sale!

    I am shocked at the price of the Delicate Lace Edgelit dies on the Last Chance list.  They are marked down from $29 to $11.60 right now.  I've used them a ton; in fact one of our Club cards features them this month.

    You might wonder about the card above.  It was made at one of my Technique classes.  The tissue paper was colored with Pigment Sprinkles, dried and adhered loosely to card stock.  Then swipe Versamark over it and heat emboss with Gold powder.
