Impressions Abloom In Color card with free project sheet & video

I shared this pretty card on last week's Live video.  We made it at my card clubs in May.

It features two of our newest In Colors – Strawberry Slush and Darling Duckling.  The card base is Summer Splash.  I think these colors are fabulous together. 

The Strawberry Slush layer was embossed with the new Pressed Flowers embossing folder.  It's part of this suite and can be seen here.

I popped up the stamped oval and adhered the stitched frame flat. I added our new 2025-27 In Color flat pearls. They're awesome and can be found here.  They come in the previous In Colors as well. 

The Impressions Abloom bundle has it all; floral and greeting images with fabulous, coordinating dies.  I'll be sharing a few cards made with it this week to convince you how great it is.  

IMPRESSIONS ABLOOM BUNDLE (ENGLISH) Save

This stamp set is both a 2-step set and distinktive which means it gives multiple hues of color with one inking.  

Look at the Summer Splash flowers on each card. They're different. The card on the left was done by not matching up the flower images. It gives the look of a fuller flower compared to the card on the right.  Lots of options!

  • 3 sets of quick Stack & Cute cards; with video & template!

    One week ago I shared my Stack & Cut cards in a FB live video.  I couldn't stop at one set since they're so quick & easy.  I made 3 different sets of cards!  Click here to watch the video.

    This first set features the Hues of Happiness designer paper from the upcoming new Annual Catalog by Stampin' Up!  It goes live tomorrow and you can all start ordering (collecting) new products!

    The card bases are Pool Party and the large layer is Highland Heather.  I used a variety of circle dies for the main greeting.  The stitched banners are from a new set of dies called Stylish Shapes; it's filled with stitched circles, squares and banners.  

    Here's the template I used for the 'Stack & Cut' pieces.  Choose 4 sheets of DSP and cut two at once.  They're layered on a 4" X 5 1/4" piece then added to your main card base.  So quick & easy and it uses up that Designer Paper you're hoarding!

    The 2nd set of cards features the Tea Boutique designer paper.  It's a 6 X 6" stack filled with all of the new In Colors!  The greeting is from the Good Feelings stamp set.  

    The colors include Sweet Sorbet and Starry Sky.

    And lastly here is the first set I made with the Heart & Home DSP from the January-June catalog. This paper is filled with soft prints and a variety of whitewashed wood on each sheet.  The colors include Pale Papaya, Garden Green White & Smoky Slate.  The greetings are from the Blessings of Home bundle; which is carrying over into the new Annual Catalog.

  • A CUTE Kite Delight card idea; shared in a video with blending & coloring tips

    Here is another playful card made with the Kite Delight stamp set in the 2022 January-June Stampin' Up! catalog.

    I used a Blending Brush and Coastal Cabana ink to create a soft sky background.  Then the kite tails were stamped using Black Memento ink and colored in with Blends markers.  Each kit was stamped using the coordinating color of card stock – Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight and Coastal Cabana.  They are fussy cut since there is not a set of dies to match.  I don't mind this at all since they're easy to cut out. 

    This stamp set is NOT carrying over into the new catalog and will retire at the end of May. See it here:

    I used the Pick a Banner punch on the Highland Heather greeting banner.  The banner & kits are all popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals.

  • TWO Cactus Cutes fun fold cards with video & measurements!

    Here are two more Cactus Cuties cards from last Tuesday's FB Live.  Follow me here on Facebook to see each video and more! 

    This first card features three of the new In Colors from the brand new Annual Catalog.  They're Sweet Sorbet (red), Parakeet Party (green) and Tahitian Tide (turquoise).  Aren't they vibrant and eye catching!

    I call this card a Dutch Door card fold.  It's pretty easy to do and makes great use of your card stock too.  Watch how with my quick tip in the video here.

    This next card is one we made at my April card clubs here in Minot.  It's called a Split Panel card.  The designer paper is from the recently retired Pattern Party host DSP.  We have a new host DSP called Design a Daydream that is just as great in the annual catalog.  I love these free paper options for hosts!!

    My colors include Granny Apply Green, Bermuda Bay and Mango Melody.  A little bit of Coastal Cabana too.  We used the Cactus Builder punch for the pot, cactus and flowers.  You can see the measurements below.
