Impressions Abloom In Color card with free project sheet & video

I shared this pretty card on last week's Live video.  We made it at my card clubs in May.

It features two of our newest In Colors – Strawberry Slush and Darling Duckling.  The card base is Summer Splash.  I think these colors are fabulous together. 

The Strawberry Slush layer was embossed with the new Pressed Flowers embossing folder.  It's part of this suite and can be seen here.

I popped up the stamped oval and adhered the stitched frame flat. I added our new 2025-27 In Color flat pearls. They're awesome and can be found here.  They come in the previous In Colors as well. 

The Impressions Abloom bundle has it all; floral and greeting images with fabulous, coordinating dies.  I'll be sharing a few cards made with it this week to convince you how great it is.  

IMPRESSIONS ABLOOM BUNDLE (ENGLISH) Save

This stamp set is both a 2-step set and distinktive which means it gives multiple hues of color with one inking.  

Look at the Summer Splash flowers on each card. They're different. The card on the left was done by not matching up the flower images. It gives the look of a fuller flower compared to the card on the right.  Lots of options!

  • Fabulous 1 sheet box for A2 cards with a free project sheet & video too!

    I shared the coolest box on last week's video. It is made from 1 sheet of designer paper! 

    Sunny Days cards & box Save

    It fits six A2 sized cards and envelopes inside. It's the perfect way to gift cards to someone. 

    I used the Sunny Days Sale-a-Bration paper for the box and the cards too.  Of course Sale-a-Bration is now over but hopefully you ordered this beautiful paper.  If not you can substitute any other designer paper.

    Each of the cards are an easy fun fold layout.  I'll share measurements here too but they are included in the project sheet too.

    This first one is a fun version of a book-binding card fold. Just add one more piece of card stock and you have a whole new card layout! 

    Petal Pink cards Save

    Measurements: Petal Pink card 11" X 4 1/4" score at 2 1/8", 4 1/4" & 5 1/2". 2nd piece is 3 1/4" X 4", White inside 2" X 4". DSP – large panel is 3" X 4", left is 1" X 4" & right is 2" X 4"

    This next card has the designer paper as the card front; attached to the front flap. Love this and how you can see both sides of our pretty paper!

    Poppy Parade card Save

    Measurements: Poppy Parade card 5 1/4" X 5 1/2" score at 4 1/4". DSP – 1 piece at 3/4" X 5 1/2", 1 piece at 4" X 5 1/2". Petal Pink CS is 4" X 1"

    This is a great fold that uses the trimmed off card base as the front panel. Love this one!!

    See how I decorated my envelopes to match the cards!  This really elevates your projects and makes them extra special. 

    Measurements: Pool Party cards – 11" X 4 1/4" score at 5 1/2"; cut off one end at 2 3/4". DSP 1 piece at 2" X 4", 2nd piece at 4" X 3"

    Today I'm sharing a card I created for an online card swap. It features the new A Little Latte designer paper and a new stamp bundle called The Little Things. 

    Happy Little Things Save

    Details:

    • My colors include Lost Lagoon, Early Espresso, White & Pecan Pie.
    • The Little Things stamp set features a few larger words – outline & solid images plus many smaller greetings that fit the banner dies in the bundle. 
    • I stamped the coffee splatters background in Versamark ink
    • The coffee cups are fussy cut
    • Measurements: DSP is 4 1/2" X 2 1/4", Espresso layer 4 3/4" X 2 1/2", Pecan Pie strip 1 3/4" X 4 1/4", White greeting is 4 3/4" X 3/4" 

    There are a few sheets of the A Little Latte designer paper that feature cups of coffee.  I used both types on my cards below fussy cutting them.  I actually enjoy fussy cutting easy images out.

    The above photo shows the new Happy Little Things bundle – it has two new banner dies that coordinate with the smaller greetings in the set.  I was surprised at how easy it was to stamp the solid 'Celebrate' to match the outline image. Out of all of  my 16 cards I only had to stamp one over.

    On last week's video I shared how to make a fun cow card and a pig too. Today I'll share the sheep version!

    I decided to use a Pool Party card base to coordinate with the Sunny Days designer paper. The Deckled circle dies are an easy way to create a cute card.  The greeting is from the Heartfelt Hellos stamp set seen here.  Both the DSP & stamps are still available for FREE with any $50 purchase in our Sale-a-Bration promotion.  I'm so sad this promotion ends today!

    I wanted to use puff paint for the fuzzy sheep body & the top of her head but it's not currently part of our products so I used the punch and punched a bunch of white pieces to add for her fur. In hindsight I should have used a cotton ball – pulling it apart and adding thin bits of it with glue.  That would have been much easier!
