Geometric fun with an Ombre’ effect; video tutorial too!

I've been sharing ideas & techniques featuring the Plenty of Patterns masks from a recent FB Live video. 

Today it's an Ombre' effect created with a grid mask, 4 colors of ink and Blending Brushes.

The colors I used are from top to bottom: Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral, Polished Pink and Melon Mambo. I used our Blending Brushes to achieve this smooth blended look.  See them here. I love them; they're so worth investing in.  And the nice thing is that the ink can be rinsed out to use them in any color next time.

I'm sure you noticed the hexagonal greeting die-cuts.  This is part of a new die-cut set called Beautiful Shapes dies coming out in the upcoming 2022 Jan-June catalog.  And the Adhesive-Backed Hexagons coordinate wonderfully.  These embellishments come in a package of three colors – Black, Blushing Bride & Just Jade.

  • CUTE Butterfly Kisses Card Kit to go or Tutorial

    I chose to feature the Butterfly Kisses designer paper for one of my August card kits to go.  It's so colorful & bright!

    I created 2 each of 5 different cards; a few are special fun fold designs.  I find it quite enjoyable to create when I gather products that 'work' together so easily.  I let the colors in the DSP guide me and added Starry Sky ribbon & Fun Flowers resin shapes for accents.  

    If you like these cards you have a few options; get the pre-cut kit to go with the PDF tutorial or just the PDF tutorial only.  

    The pre-cut kit includes the following: 

    • All pre-cut pieces including punched or die-cuts
    • 1/2 pkg of 6 X 6" Butterfly Kisses DSP (you'll cut using the directions)
