Gears & Textures bundle; another wow with Candace’s fun fold card

Today I’m sharing a neat card made by Candace; my talented team member. She used the Gears & Textures bundle to make this:

You can see the Gears & Textures bundle here. It’s so special & unique and perfect for masculine cards. But as you can see in Candace’s card it’s great for gals too!

She made her own paper with the stamps in the set. She used Pretty in Pink, Night of Navy & Flirty Flamingo inks. She added die-cut gears from the Metallic Textured Specialty papers seen here.

If you want to make a card like this start out with a 4 1/4″ X 11″ piece of card stock scored at 5 1/2″. Trim off a 1 1/2″ piece from one end. Then trim off another 2 1/2″ piece which is the vertical center piece. The stamped paper layers are 1 1/4″ X 4″ on the top & bottom and the center is 2 1/4″ X 4″.

Awesome fun fold swaps by the Flowerbug’s

Today I'm sharing two neat fun fold cards made by a few of my Flowerbug's for a recent card swap. Our them was to use a new 2025-27 In Color and make it a fun fold.

First is a card made by Joan who used the new Online Exclusive set 'It's Okay' seen here.

Her In Color is Strawberry Slush and she loves to color; as you can see! It's a triple fold card; here's how the first panel opens:

Here are her measurements:
- card base 4 1/4" X 5 1/2"
- White opening panel 8" X 5 1/4" scored at 4"
- inside DSP – large right panel is 3 3/4" X 5", greeting strip 3 7/8" X 1", back of the front panel 3 1/4" X 2 1/4"
- front white panel 3" X 4 1/4"
- Front Strawberry panel 3" X 4 1/4"
- side strip to connect panels 3" X 1" scored in half

Candace made this next card – a double box card!

She used the You are Remarkable stamp set seen here. It's a great 2-step set with lots of possibilities. Her colors include Strawberry Slush, Black, Gray and White. The Designer Paper is the Botanical Textures; also in our Online Store here.

Here are her measurements:
- card base 8 1/4" X 5 1/2" score at 1", 2", 3" & 4"
- Strawberry Slush textured layers – 3 at 7/8" X 5 1/4", 1 at 7/8" X 3 7/8"
- White front 2 7/8" X 3 7/8", back is 3 3/4" X 5"
- Black 2nd box layer 4 1/4" X 4" scored at 3" & 4"
- DSP 3 1/8" X 5 3/8"

Pretty yet simple Gallery Blooms card with video tutorial & free project sheet.

I shared two pretty cards featuring the Gallery Blooms bundle on last week's video. The first was shared here. And this is the second one:

Both featured the bundle and two main colors – Secret Sea with Fresh Freesia. The greeting die-cut is from the Nested Essentials set seen here. I'm so glad it didn't retire!

I stamped the flowers on the Fresh Freesia layer to create a background pattern and used the same for the inside of the card. The two sets of flowers are stamped in Secret Sea and die-cut with the coordinating dies.
