Gears & Textures bundle; another wow with Candace’s fun fold card

Today I’m sharing a neat card made by Candace; my talented team member. She used the Gears & Textures bundle to make this:

You can see the Gears & Textures bundle here. It’s so special & unique and perfect for masculine cards. But as you can see in Candace’s card it’s great for gals too!

She made her own paper with the stamps in the set. She used Pretty in Pink, Night of Navy & Flirty Flamingo inks. She added die-cut gears from the Metallic Textured Specialty papers seen here.

If you want to make a card like this start out with a 4 1/4″ X 11″ piece of card stock scored at 5 1/2″. Trim off a 1 1/2″ piece from one end. Then trim off another 2 1/2″ piece which is the vertical center piece. The stamped paper layers are 1 1/4″ X 4″ on the top & bottom and the center is 2 1/4″ X 4″.

Summer Shadow dies & Shaded Summer; a beautiful pairing!

I'm sharing our Flowerbug Team swaps featuring Sale-a-Bration choices. This amazing card was created by Paula.

She used the Summer Shadow dies seen here along with the Shaded Summer stamp set. This stamp set is in the Annual Catalog on page 75 and the dies are a free choice during SAB/Sale-a-Bration. However remember that these dies are expected to sell out before the end of September when SAB ends. See them here.

This is also a fun fold card. Her Black card is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and is scored at 2 1/8" X 4 1/4". The front left panel is folded back.

Look at the many layers of die-cuts she added here! Lots of Vellum along with Polished Pink ink and Just Jade & Soft Succulent card stock & inks. Placing the die-cuts on Black really brings out the color & details.

Unique Triangle Gate-fold card with video

Check out this fabulous fun fold card that shows off both sides of your Designer Paper!

I had a request to do a video for it so I featured it in this week's Stamp with Me Live on Monday night. If you aren't following me on FB here's the link to my page.

Here is the card made with the Peaceful Prints DSP in the Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here. Right now it's FREE with a $50 order during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-Bration promotion. It coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle. I punched the deer on the front panel right from this paper!

The card on the above right is made with the Peaceful Prints specialty DSP. I added a few wreaths cut from the Seasonal Swirl dies – one in Black and one in Silver.
