Fabulous Gone Fishing bundle swap cards

Father's Day is coming up Sunday and the Gone Fishing bundle is perfect for the occasion.  

I received two swap cards on the cruise and thought you'd like to see them.  First is my friend Susie Wood's card.  Her style is similar to mine and we often share cards with each other. My husband and I spent time with her and her husband Deke on the cruise; not enough but we both treasure our friendship so much!   It's been 20 years since I joined Stampin' Up! this month.  It's hard to imagine my life without the benefit of all of my friends, team members and customers.

• Awesome Dance with Me fun fold card

  Look at this gorgeous fun fold card Karen made for our Sale-a-Bration Team swap this month!

  She used the Dance with Me stamp set and the Floral Delight designer paper.  I love the spotlight technique she did too!  You can see an example of it in the SAB catalog here.  This neat spotlight technique is done with masking paper and a blending brush. It's so easy! 

  This set is free through February with any $60 purchase.

  Her colors include Pool Party, White & Daffodil Delight.  She used the Stylish Shapes dies to create her window fun fold effect.  The greeting is from the Day to Celebrate stamp set; also from Sale-a-Bration.

  I plan to create this fun fold next month but in the meantime here are her measurements:

  • Card base 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
  • White inside 8" X 5 " scored at 2", 3 1/2" & 5 1/2"
  • DSP front is 4" X 5 1/4", inside 1 1/4" X 4 3/4"
  • large circle die-cut is 3", white for the dancing couple is 2 1/2"
