Easy but adorable Hello Ladybug Cards Kit to go

My Flowerbug's and I held a Zoom meeting last week and we all made versions of my Easy 8 Card Wonder.  I chose to use the Hello Ladybug stamp set for mine.

My colors are Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Real Red & Black.  My Easy 8 Card Wonder template takes the guesswork our of creating.  

Here is how I prepped for the Zoom.  I chose my colors, printed the template on White CS, grabbed my card stock & bags of scraps and stamped a few greeting tags.

    I took the easy way out when I stamped my greetings.  Here are the steps for perfect stamping using the Stamparatus:

    1. I die-cut a bunch of the White labels (from the Hippo & Friends dies) first. 
    2. Then I placed the frame left over from die-cutting on my Stamparatus. 
    3. Lay your clean stamp on the label, positioning it in place. 
    4. Close the clear plate to 'grab' the stamp. 
    5. Ink the stamp and close the plate to stamp. 
    6. Repeat!

  • Bamboo Beauty & the Ink Swipe Technique

    I created this striking card for a swap I participated in with some of my Demonstrator leader friends.  I wanted to highlight the beautiful Bamboo Beauty stamp set.

    I decided to create a bold background effect by swiping ink pads directly across my Basic White CS.  Each one turned out totally different!

    I chose to use these colors from top to bottom – Pale Papaya, Mango Melody, Flirty Flamingo & Calypso Coral. Depending on how well inked your pads are you can get a variety of hues.  After I swiped the darker colors I used the Pale Papaya over it all to blend and soften the colors together.

    My measurements for this card are as follows:

    • So Saffron card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 2 1/8" & 4 1/4"
    • White (before swiping) 3 1/2" X 4 3/4" 
    • Black 3 5/8" X 4 7/8"
