Earthen Elegance kit to go or get the PDF tutorial option

I couldn't decide which designer paper to feature for this month's card kit to go. So I did a poll on my Facebook page.  Earthen Elegance won!

Here are the cards I created: 

Earthen Elegance all Save

Three of the five designs are fun fold cards.  It seems like many people like to create these; something you don't get from a store-bought card.  

I used the Earthen Textures stamp set for my greetings and some Earthen Textures dies too.  You can use any greetings you'd like though. If you'd like to add on the Earthen Textures stamp set or bundle, message me here and I will add it on at a 10% savings. 

Pretty Peacock was a featured color in three of the five cards; It pairs beautifully with brown tones and vanilla here.  

The kit includes $20 in product including 1/2 pkg of the Earthen Textures DSP (6" X 12"), a share of the Natural Wavy trim, Neutrals adhesive-backed sequins and 10 vanilla envelopes.  For all that and the pre-cut kit, it's just $28 plus shipping!

Details on the pre-cut card kit: 

  • The pre-cut kit and products are mailed out by the end of the month, barring any back-orders. 
  • The kit includes all punched and die-cut pieces; everything is cut except your new designer paper. 
  • You will need your own ink, greetings and adhesives.  Plus a paper trimmer to cut your DSP. 
  • The PDF tutorial is sent to you immediately via email.
  • The tutorial includes step by step directions, photos, measurements and a supplies list.

    Are you enjoying these sneak peaks from the new 2021 Stampin' Up! Spring & Sale-a-Bration catalogs?  It's always fun to play with brand new products.  Today I'm playing with new 2021 Sale-a-Bration (or SAB) items.  

    The Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper is full of flowers and fun color combos!  I decided to use my Stitched Rectangle dies to create this layered effect.  If you want to watch a video on how to do this click here.

    I used the third smallest and the third largest die in the Stitched Rectangles set.  It looks like I wasted a ton of paper but the entire card is made with one piece of DSP measuring 5 1/4" X 4".  It's so cool!  

    Navy layers are:

    • Main card 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • Smallest rectangle is 3 3/8" X 2", middle is 4 1/2" X 3 1/8" 

    You might wonder what I used for the greeting.  The White piece is a new die from the Potted Succulent dies seen here. The Rococo Rose layers are punched pieces; 2 of them.  I used a 1" X 3 3/4" strip and the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch for the ends.  The center piece is the Story Label punch.  The pearls on the label are the NEW Pastel Pearls on page 19 of the new Spring Catalog seen here.

  • Free Quick & Easy One Sheet Wonder template for 12″ designer paper

    When I saw the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper I thought it would work wonderfully with a one sheet wonder.  It's amazing and gorgeous paper that you can get FREE during Stampin' Up!'s 2021 Sale-a-Bration promotion.  It starts on Tuesday, January 5th so I cannot give you a link to the products quite yet.  But I can show you my cards!

    Berry Delightful OSW Red Save

    Aren't they sweet?  All are made with just one sheet of 12 X 12" Berry Delightful paper.  I needed just a few additional strips and layers along with greetings. The colors are Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, White & Flirty Flamingo.

    Here's the template I created.  You can watch the video below to get some tips on making these cards.

    I used the Berry Blessings stamp set which is included in the free bundle along with the Sweet Strawberry set & punch bundle from the new Spring catalog.

    Here's the Sweet Strawberry bundle I used.  I love that the punch has 4 parts that match the stamps!  (You can tell which images coordinate with the punch; they're highlighted.) And notice how the fonts in both of these sets match?!!

    After I made the strawberry cards I wanted to try the blueberries sheet so I made these cards with that one.
