Diagonal Fun Fold with new products! Free project sheet & video too.

Today I'm sharing a neat fun fold I hadn't made for awhile.  It's a diagonal fold that is fun and easy. 

 

Bright Borders Diagonal Save

I used a few new, upcoming products from both the 2025 Spring and the 2025 Sale-a-Bration catalogs.  The greeting & punch are made with the Bright Borders set and coordinating To the Point punch.  The designer paper is the Toadstool Gardens 6" DSP from the SAB catalog.  It's free with any $60 purchase from January 7th – February 28th, 2025.  

I made over 20 of them for a mail out swap I joined.  The colors include Melon Mambo & Granny Apple Green. 

 

Bright Borders swaps Save

I share how to make it in the video here and seen below.  Basically it involves trimming off half of one side of the card base, flipping it and adhering it back to the card front.  The only confusing this can be adding your designer paper.  I suggest using a non-directional paper when trying this out.

  • Beautiful Lovely Garden fun fold card kit or choose the tutorial option

    I have both a pre-cut card kit with SU products or a PDF tutorial option available. 

    This card kit includes the following items:

    • the pre-cut card kit including punched and die-cut elements
    • 1/2 pkg Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper (6" X 12")
    • a share of the Regal Foiled dots
    • a share of Paper Butterflies
    • the PDF tutorial with photos, measurements, a supply list and step by step directions.

    You'll need greeting images (I used Layering Leaves but any stamps will work), adhesives, inks and a paper trimmer to cut your new designer paper.

  • Great sketch to create fast cards with Woven Textures

    On last week's video I shared two more projects made with the Textured Notes bundle which is included in the entire Botanical Textures suite seen here.

    This lovely card features Pecan Pie with Early Espresso. I stamped directly onto the designer paper – a soft linen sheet included in the Woven Textures DSP seen here.

    I die-cut the three rectangles with the new Textured Notes dies which is included in the Textured Notes bundle seen here.  I cannot stop using this bundle!!

    This layout was inspired by this sketch.

    I love using sketches for my inspiration!  Think of them as a starting point.  Noticed I added a greeting layer & linen thread.

    Did you catch the texture on the diagonal Early Espresso strip?  That's the new Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder seen here.  I tell you this suite is incredible!  I love every single thing in it!

    Below is the inside view.  Like I said yesterday these leaf stamps are wonderful to play with. Easy, beautiful cards.
