Countryside Inn pre-cut card kit to go; or get the PDF tutorial option

There are so many beautiful new designer papers to base my card kits to go on but I knew I had to offer one featuring the  Countryside Inn DSP! If you love blues you'll LOVE these pretty cards!

This kit includes 1/2 pkg. of Countryside Inn designer paper (6" X 12"), a share of both clear rhinestones and Night of Navy bordered ribbon. *Most of these cards are unique card folds!

The PDF tutorial is $15; here's the link. 

Opt in by May 16th to get this kit. It is mailed out at the end of May, barring any inventory issues.  The PDF is emailed to you immediately after purchase.  Check your spam or junk folder for it.

You'll also receive the 10 pre-cut cards (2 each of 5 designs), including die-cut or punched pieces and the PDF written tutorial. You will use a paper trimmer to cut the designer paper using the measurements in the PDF tutorial.

  • Cottage Wreaths gift treat bag with video; easy and uses your DSP too!

    I shared this cute project on a FB Live video a few weeks ago.  It features the Country Wreaths bundle and the Santa Express designer paper.  Here's the link to the video.

    Look at the wreaths above; they're each unique, showing how much variety there is in the stamp set & dies.  

    The left is mostly die-cuts with an additional bow & berries added.  The right has the stamped wreath over the die-cut green wreath.  The bow is die-cut from Red glimmer paper. So many options!

    I started with a piece of DSP at 5 1/2" X 8 1/2". Score at 1 1/4" with the short edge at the top.  Then with the long edge at the top score at 2", 4", 6" & 8" up to that first score line.  Tip: You're only scoring the bottom of this bag. 

    Crease on the score lines and glue together.  *watch the video to see how.

  • Awesome fundraiser last weekend!

    Last Saturday we held a big fundraiser for two of my favorite local charitable organizations here in Minot, ND. It was an amazing success because of the many donations & volunteers. 

    I kept feeling a nudge to do this and I knew my friends & community would join in. I was thrilled with the many people that helped pull it off.

    We raised over $3400 in sales towards these charitable organizations. Woo hoo!

    We focused on baked and craft items at our sale hoping to help people with their Holiday baking & gift giving.  A local church offered us their Parish Hall to hold it.  Here are some pictures of our goods.

    We had an amazing group of donations. We were asked by many if we would do it again next year; and I sure hope we can!

    Here's a little information on these two organizations:

    Hairball Haven is a local feline rescue that takes in homeless kittens and cats, provide veterinary care, immunizations, spays or neuters and houses them until they find new, loving homes.  They currently have over 100 in house & in foster homes.  An average vet bill is $20,000. They're amazing and I'm so happy to help support them. My granddaughter Eliza loves to volunteer there when she's in town.  Here's a link to their FB page and donation link.   

    Matthew 25 Project is the other wonderful organization we donated to.  They are a nonprofit that seeks to match gifts of clothing and household items with those in need in our community at no cost. My friend Melissa started this in Minot and 1000's of people have benefited from their generousity. It's run by volunteers but they do have rent, gas and heat bills.  Here's a link to their FB page. 

    I love this time of year when everyone feels the need to give to others.
