Christmas card swaps – fun layouts and fancy-fold cards

I have lots of beautiful cards to share with you this week; all from my Flowerbug's Team swaps. You'll love the theme – 'to use glitz, shine or shimmer'.

This first card was made by Tracey. I think we all love the fractured card layout!

Stylish Shapes dies – for 1 7/8" Vanilla square

Next is a neat interlocking gatefold card made by Candace. I'm not sure of the name of this fun fold but see how the circle die-cuts are entwined? One is adhered to each side of the front folds.

Measurements:

Cherry Cobbler card base 11" X 4 1/4" score at 2 3/4" from each side.
Designer paper is 2 1/2" X 4" – 4 pieces; 2 for the front and 2 for the back
Largest circle die-cut is 3", White inside is 2 1/2"

On last week Tuesday's FB live I created a bunch of projects featuring the Circle Celebration stamp set in the Spring catalog. You can see it here.

The Triple Time Stamping technique is when you stamp on three pieces of card stock all at once. I layered just the White pieces in place and adhere them together slightly. This holds them in place while stamping with the fun circle images.

Then you adhere them to the larger Navy card stock pieces. Watch the video below to catch my tips. It's the first project of three in the video.

I used the Tailored Tag punch and the Best Year stamp set for the greeting with a few loops of Daffodil Ruched ribbon.

The colors in the card above are Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate. It is my Creative Card Color Combo last week.

Pretty Window card

I created this card for a Flowerbug's Team swap this month. The theme was to make a 'Window' card.

My colors are Balmy Blue, Black & White here. That pretty flower is fussy cut from the True Love Designer Series paper seen here and colored with Balmy Blue Blends. It's my very favorite paper!

I textured the Balmy Blue CS before I die-cut the window; cutting them both at the same time.
