Beautiful Nature’s Sweetness specialty paper – for gorgeous cards in this kit to go or PDF tutorial

I chose to feature the stunning Nature's Sweetness specialty paper for one of my April card kits to go.  It's filled with pretty gold foil patterns and botanical prints. As usual the photo does not do them justice!

  • 10 pre-cut cards – 2 each of 5 designs including a few fancy fold layouts
  • 1/2 pkg of the Nature's Sweetness specialty designer paper (6" X 12")
  • a share of the faux leather trim
  • a share of neutral sequins
  • the PDF tutorial with photos, measurements, supplies & step by step directions

You'll receive the PDF tutorial immediately after payment; check your email. The pre-cut kit & products will be sent at the end of April.

*This kit does not include stamped images.  You'll need assorted greeting images and a few inks to complete the cards.

You'll use a paper trimmer to cut your new designer paper using the measurements in the tutorial. Everything else is pre-cut for you.

    Look at the photo below; see how this sheet of paper coordinates with the large multiple butterfly die? It might be hard to tell but the die is laying on the paper.  So cool!

    I used three of these butterflies on my cards; the green, blue and yellow!  Such happy spring-like colors!

    Measurements are:

    • Card Base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • Designer Paper 2" X 5 1/2"
    • Natural Touch paper 2" X 4"
    • Black 2 1/4" X 4 1/4", plus 1/4" and 1/3" strips and die-cut butterfly
    • White scrap for Painted Poppies die-cut

    On the card below I did color parts of the yellow butterfly with my Calypso Coral Blends marker.

  • Stunning Sand & Sea cards great tips in the video

    We made this gorgeous card at my February card clubs.  Everyone was amazed at how beautiful this die-cut is once it's stamped and textured with the Seashells embossing folder.

  • Unique ideas with the Oh So Ombre designer paper; Promo ends Sunday!

    Here are a few more ideas with the gorgeous Oh So Ombre designer paper.  It has been my favorite Sale-a-Bration item this year!  

    Playing with strips has always been fun for me.  On this first card I started with one sheet of DSP and cut it first at 4 1/2" long.  Then I cut strips off of the main piece at random angles.

    Next I laid these strips on my grid paper and stamped the leaves from Forever Fern stamp set on them using Granny Apple Green ink.  

    I then glued these strips to a 3 3/4" X 5" piece of White CS leaving a thin 1/16" gap between.  I didn't worry about the edges at all.  After I was done I trimmed them off even with the main White CS.

    Next is a fun card playing with the Playful Alphabet and 1/2" strips of this pretty Ombre paper.  I adhered the letters to the end of the paper strip with rolled up mini glue dots and trimmed any excess off that showed around the letter.

    The 'birthday' greeting is from Vine Design and the bottom edge is punched with the Postage Punch.
