Beautiful Color Combo inspiration with a fun fold card

Each month my Flowerbug's Team have either a sketch or a color challenge.  This is the current one we're playing with:

I realize that a card I made a few months ago almost meets this challenge.

  • Beautiful Lovely Garden fun fold card kit or choose the tutorial option

    Look at this gorgeous set of cards!  I featured the Lovely Garden designer paper from our Online Exclusives. You can see it here.

    All of these cards are unique fun fold layouts. You can use the ideas for any designer papers you own. 

    I have both a pre-cut card kit with SU products or a PDF tutorial option available. 

    This card kit includes the following items:

    • the pre-cut card kit including punched and die-cut elements
    • 1/2 pkg Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper (6" X 12")
    • a share of the Regal Foiled dots
    • a share of Paper Butterflies
    • the PDF tutorial with photos, measurements, a supply list and step by step directions.

    You'll need greeting images (I used Layering Leaves but any stamps will work), adhesives, inks and a paper trimmer to cut your new designer paper.

  • Great sketch to create fast cards with Woven Textures

    On last week's video I shared two more projects made with the Textured Notes bundle which is included in the entire Botanical Textures suite seen here.

    This lovely card features Pecan Pie with Early Espresso. I stamped directly onto the designer paper – a soft linen sheet included in the Woven Textures DSP seen here.

    I die-cut the three rectangles with the new Textured Notes dies which is included in the Textured Notes bundle seen here.  I cannot stop using this bundle!!

    This layout was inspired by this sketch.

    I love using sketches for my inspiration!  Think of them as a starting point.  Noticed I added a greeting layer & linen thread.

    Did you catch the texture on the diagonal Early Espresso strip?  That's the new Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder seen here.  I tell you this suite is incredible!  I love every single thing in it!

    Below is the inside view.  Like I said yesterday these leaf stamps are wonderful to play with. Easy, beautiful cards.
