Beautiful By the Bay card kit; stunning designer paper!

This gorgeous By the Bay specialty designer paper is amazingly beautiful!  It has gold and glossy accents on one side of each page.  

It was my top choice for a January card kit; it's incredibly pretty and not just for beachy themes.  Below you'll see the 10 cards featured in my By the Bay card kit to go.

There are 10 cards here with most being fancy folds.  The kit includes a half a package of By the Bay 6" DSP, a share of new Milky Dots and new Balmy Blue shaded ribbon AND the PDF tutorial.  Plus you'll receive the 10 pre-cut cards – everything is cut for you including the die-cut or punched pieces.  You'll just need to cut the designer paper that's in your product kit.  You'll have lots of product left to make even more cards!

  • Circle Celebration Easy 8 Card Wonder Kit to Go!

    As you know I love creating One Sheet Wonders.  I have created lots of them in the years I've been a demonstrator.  I create the cards and my husband makes the templates.  You can see them all here in my Shop.  

    For these cards I used my Easy 8 Card Wonder template and the Circle Celebration stamp set.  You can see the stamp set here.

    The colors are Poppy Parade, Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight.  I wanted them to be bright and happy celebratory cards. I think I succeeded! 

    For the greetings I used the stamp sets Many Mates & Itty Bitty Birthdays but you can easily substitute what you own. 

    Here's a look at how I made the main 'wonder' piece.  I used slightly different colors on this sheet, but it gives you the idea.

    I stamped all over a sheet of 8 1/2" X 11" White card stock; the printed template is on the reverse side.  After stamping I flip it over and cut on the printed lines. Each piece is numbered so I know which one goes with which card in the tutorial.  The PDF tutorial includes measurements for other pieces needed.

    There is also a kit to go option for $28.  It includes the following:

    • Circle Celebration photopolymer stamp set
    • 8 pre-cut cards including layers, punched and die-cut pieces
    • The printed 8 1/2" X 11" White card stock
    • The complete PDF sent via email

    *You will need the inks in the colors stated above (or similar colors), a paper trimmer and adhesive. The kit does not include stamped images, gems or ribbon.

  • Misty Trees Beauty of Friendship card

    With each new catalog I always join several card swaps so I have lots of samples to share with my customers.  

    Here's one I created featuring the Beauty of Friendship Bundle.

    The colors are the new In Colors of course; Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.  The background stamping is made by stamping the trees several times without reinking. This gives you several hues/generations of ink which creates a misty, grouping of trees.  I love this effect with a 'naked' tree!  It reminds me of my Father-in-Law who loved naked trees.  

    Other details:

    • The greeting is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on a 1" strip of our Vellum card stock.  I immediately heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  Classic (or waterbase) ink does not dry quickly on vellum so you get colored, embossing easily. 
    • The vellum was cut long enough to wrap around the outside edge and adhere to the back side.
    • The dark tree was stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on White CS and die-cut with the Beautiful Trees dies.
