Artistic Dies & sponging; super simple but WOW!

I couldn't decide which to use behind the sponged die-cut so I made both White & Black.   You can see that video here from Tuesday's FB live earlier this week.  

Which one do you prefer?

The reviews were mixed.  Most prefer the Black because the colors pop more.  But others liked the White for a softer look. 

The card bases are Pale Papaya and Polished Pink. The strips are Pear Pizzazz. I used sponge daubers in Pear, Papaya, Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink to add color to the pretty die-cut.  See these dies here and the bundle here.

The pretty scalloped die-cut is from the Scalloped Contour dies seen here.  The oval is from the Double Oval punch.

• Unique Silver & Gold Designer Paper technique ideas with video!

  I played with the Silver & Gold Designer Series Paper on this week's FB Live and this is one of my favorite projects:

  My goal was to share different ways to add color to this pretty metallic themed paper.  for this card I used our Water Brushes and our 2022-24 In Color ink.  I filled the water brush with water, using the largest brush, added a wash of four of the five colors.  

  This card layout is one referred to as the Stack & Cut technique.  You start out with at least 2 pieces of Designer Paper measuring 3 3/4" X 5" and cut using the template below.  It's so easy and is a fabulous way to showcase your designer paper.

• CUTE Butterfly Kisses Card Kit to go or Tutorial

  I chose to feature the Butterfly Kisses designer paper for one of my August card kits to go.  It's so colorful & bright!

  I created 2 each of 5 different cards; a few are special fun fold designs.  I find it quite enjoyable to create when I gather products that 'work' together so easily.  I let the colors in the DSP guide me and added Starry Sky ribbon & Fun Flowers resin shapes for accents.
