Amazing Side-step Vertical Easel card with Waves of the Ocean suite

We made this remarkable fun fold card at my March card clubs. It features the Waves of the Ocean suite seen here.

The 'Thanks' and 'Amazing' dies are from the Amazing Thanks dies in the 2022 Jan-June catalog. You can see them here. I love the double layering you get with them!!

This card is 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" when finished and lays flat for mailing but stands up beautifully for display.

You can see how this is assembled in the video below. I also list the measurements below too.

The card includes two white panels; one for the middle and one for the back. We stamped the wave from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set using Pacific Point ink on the middle layer. We added some Bermuda Bay ink on the wave using a Blending Brush. We also added a soft bit of Pacific Point for the sky.

Some left the back empty so they could add a greeting later; depending on what they needed at the time.

As you can see below the gorgeous Waves of the Ocean designer paper includes a variety of 'paint poured' designs & colors. I wanted it to be the main feature of the card and this fun fold made it happen! This designer paper is available through May 1st or while supplies last. This pretty paper, the foil and Waves rhinestones will not be in the new Annual catalog.

I used the Dandy Wishes dies for the 'flower heads'. For the right card below I trimmed off a few of the side pieces to create a smaller flower head.

Here’s a pretty card I shared during last week’s video. It features many new upcoming products!

I also used a new stamp set called Delicate Framing. The greeting is stamped on a new set of dies called Creative Haven dies and that’s layered on a die from Branching Out.

On last week’s video I shared a bunch of new, upcoming products and this card is a favorite!

Can you spy some of the new products here? There are 4 of them…..

I’ll help you out…. One is the stamp & die bundle of course; it’s called Friendly Foliage. The other is the designer paper called Brushed with Beauty. Next is that pretty embossing folder called Pretty Patterns of course! Lastly is the gems.

I changed up the card above to use the other coordinating die in this bundle. It cuts out the center of the foliage.

Sneak Peek of new products with a sketch for inspiration

On last week’s video I shared three cards featuring a new designer paper coming out in November. It’s called Brushed with Beauty.

My colors include Very Vanilla, Mossy Meadow & Calypso Coral. The stamp & dies bundle is called Words of Beauty and is part of the Brushed with Beauty suite. Demonstrators (& new team members) are able to order it early but you can see and order these new products on November 4th. They’re part of our Online Exclusives – new products released every other month.

This layout was inspired by a sketch. Every month my Flowerbug’s have a creative challenge involving sketches or a color combo. This will be our November sketch inspiration. Sketches are a fabulous start to creating a card or scrapbook page. And they’re just an inspiration. As you can see I did not use a circle but the die from the Label Me Grateful dies seen here. I also flipped the center rectangle on it’s side.

The Words of Beauty bundle will be a great option for greeting phrases. It includes two large sets of dies with the words ‘just’ and ‘because’ and then plenty of words to create your greeting. Plus the die I used with the word ‘because’ below is one of three in the package.

You’ll notice the new packaging in the photo below. All new stamps & dies will be in these envelopes. Also all new stamps will be clear photopolymer and not red rubber.
