Amazing Beautiful Motif dies featured on this simple card

 

I shared this card on my Live video last week.  It's a simple fun fold that looks extra special due to the dies I used.

The Beautiful Motifs is wonderful, mostly because of the extra special dies.  3 of the 5 dies partially cut out and the other 2 do cut out fully (see the pink flower above). 

This set of dies or bundle will be included in the Suite sale starting today!  Once you buy one item at full price you can get these dies for just $16.50 (if less than the first item).

In the photo below you can see how one of the other partially cut dies looks – in the bottom corner inside the card.  What a pretty addition to our cards! 

The textured Pink strip is the Damask Designs embossing folder seen here.  It's also included in the Suite sale!

  • Need a quick gift box for the Holidays? Use your designer paper!!

    Are you a last minute wrapper?  I can help! I made these fast gift boxes on this week's FB Live.  Honestly they are super easy and you can make them wide or tall depending on where you score. 

    Toile Tidings boxes Save

    Each one is made from 2 pieces of 12 X 12" designer paper; these are from Toile Tidings which is now discontinued and out of stock.   Double sided paper is preferred and makes them extra special.  I used the same patterns for each box; flipping the pattern so they coordinated. 

    I know some of you might think it's frivolous to use your designer paper for gift boxes.  Now consider how much DSP you have stored up!  Use it; you can do it!

    And here is another version with the new True Love designer paper; all Black & White! It's from the upcoming 2021 Spring Catalog!

    I colored some of the flowers on the paper with both Rococo Rose and Purple Posy Blends markers.  Then I added two ribbons; Black glittered and Purple Posy.

  • Quite Curvy & Classic Christmas Strips

    I totally enjoy making these strip cards!  It seems like I always have little strips of paper left over from a project. Most times I can toss them without a thought but now & then I have trouble doing that. This technique puts them to great use!

    I used the Classic Christmas designer paper on this card.  It's available now through January 4th or while supplies last.  The colors are Shaded Spruce, Sahara Sand & Cherry Cobbler.  See it here.

  • Snowflake Wishes Fun Fold card with video; it’s easier than it looks!

    We made this pretty card at my December Card Clubs.  It features the Snowflake Wishes bundle and the Snowflake Splendor designer paper.

    The colors were inspired by the beautiful Snowflake Splendor designer paper. It's Balmy Blue, White & Highland Heather.

    • Balmy Blue – 5 1/2" X 4 1/4", plus 4" X 11" scored at 2" and 3 3/4" from both ends
    • Snowflake Splendor DSP 1" X 4" (2 pieces)
    • Highland Heather 3 3/4" square
    • Whisper White 3 1/2" square for front, 3 1/2" X 3" for inside, 1" X 3 1/2" for front greeting
    • Balmy Blue glimmer paper 1/2" X 4"
