Wow; Mixed Florals Reverse Image Technique with window sheets!

I'm continuing to share our July team swaps featuring window sheets. 

Look at the stunning card made by Paula. For her card swap she made a Reverse Image technique cased from Kylie Bertucci.

MIXED FLORALS BUNDLE Save

She used Crushed Curry for her card base and Floral Impressions designer paper.  I'm so impressed by her gorgeous coloring with the Blends markers!  What pretty shading she achieved! 

Below you can see how she also colored the reverse side so when you flipped up the card front it's just as pretty on the inside!  So neat.  I also love the diagonal slant on the front. 

The card opens to reveal 3 layers!

Measurements:

  • Crushed Curry card base- 1 at 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 5 1/2", another at 7 1/4" X 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2" (cut on the diagonal) and two extra slat pieces to cover both front & inside of the card. 
  • DSP – 4" X 5 1/4" X 3 pieces
  • White inside 3 1/2" X 4 3/4"; plus die-cuts

    I had a request to do a video for it so I featured it in this week's Stamp with Me Live on Monday night. If you aren't following me on FB here's the link to my page. 

    Here is the card made with the Peaceful Prints DSP in the Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here.  Right now it's FREE with a $50 order during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-Bration promotion. It coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle.  I punched the deer on the front panel right from this paper!

    The card on the above right is made with the Peaceful Prints specialty DSP.  I added a few wreaths cut from the Seasonal Swirl dies – one in Black and one in Silver.  

    Watch the video below to see how it's made.  It's actually quite easy and really does showcase both sides of your 2-sided Designer Paper!

  • Pretty Pumpkins with Be Dazzling specialty paper

    After seeing other projects with the Pretty Pumpkin bundle I had to get it.  I love the images and the font in the greetings.

    I stamped the large pumpkin image in Pumpkin Pie ink and colored them and the leaves with Blends markers using both Pumpkin Pie & Olive markers plus light Crumb Cake for the stem & light Cajun Craze for the darkest areas on the pumpkins.

    I was playing around with the Be Dazzling specialty paper and decided to try to color it.  I had a spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol & either Pumpkin Pie or Cajun Craze ink refill.  So I spritzed it on to a piece of the glittery paper.  It worked beautifully!  I did have to let it sit for a few minutes to set well.  Then I rubbed it with tissue to get any excess off before I die-cut the pretty filigree pumpkin with it.  

    I also spritzed my White twine to color it as well.
