What’s Cookin’ & All For Baby card ideas

Today I'm sharing two cards made by sisters on my Flowerbugs Team.  They're so talented and I love to see what they make for our swaps.  

First is an amazing card made by Jonna.  She used the What's Cookin' bundle seen here.  I LOVE her colors and how she created a tablecloth from the patterned paper by placing it on an angle.

She stamped & die-cut the cooking elements and added it to the 'table'.  The White background is textured with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.  

The greeting is stamped and punched out with the Everyday Label punch. It's neat how she used it vertically instead of the usual way. 

Next is a sweet baby card made by Jacki featuring the All for Baby bundle seen here.  Her colors are Just Jade & Basic White.  The baby outfit is stamped in Just Jade ink and die-cut; then added with the hanger die-cut.  The designer paper is from our In color patterned paper packs – we have 6 sets of these in all of our color families.

That little rhinestone on the hanger is a great addition. I love the simplicity of this card; it really showcases the outfit & greeting.

  • Fabulous Gone Fishing bundle swap cards

    Father's Day is coming up Sunday and the Gone Fishing bundle is perfect for the occasion.  

    I received two swap cards on the cruise and thought you'd like to see them.  First is my friend Susie Wood's card.  Her style is similar to mine and we often share cards with each other. My husband and I spent time with her and her husband Deke on the cruise; not enough but we both treasure our friendship so much!   • Marvelous Nature Ombre technique with video tutorial

    Today I'm sharing the other card I made during Tuesday's video.  Both featured the new set called Marvelous Nature.

    I used an ombre technique where I inked the solid stamped image with three inks consecutively.  The top is Pool Party, the middle is Lost Lagoon and the bottom is Pretty Peacock.

    The greeting is from the set but I did use the Stylish Shapes dies for it and popped it up on Dimensionals.

    The card base is Lost Lagoon with two strips of Pretty Peacock under the main image.  As you can see by the photo below the left card is lighter than the right one.  In the video I went over the upper part of the image one more time using the Stamparatus; mostly so I could get a more solid, complete image.

  • Pretty Marvelous Nature card with video tutorial & measurements

    I've seen a few projects with the Marvelous Nature set and was intrigued by it's reverse images. And it's nature so I ordered it.  This card was one of two I made on this week's Live video:

    I chose to use Lost Lagoon with Pretty Peacock. I also added some of the Hello, Irresistible designer paper. This pretty DSP is on sale right now too!  See it here.  

    You may also spy the shimmery strip beside the greeting.  This is our Soft Shimmer 12" X 12" paper pack seen here.  It has 5 rich colors in it.

    The Marvelous Nature stamp set (seen here) includes two beautiful images and three greetings.  I kept my card very simple to show off the pretty fern image.
