Use the stamp in a new way on this card! Hello Harvest projects

Here's a pretty card I shared on last week's FB live video; it features the Hello Harvest bundle.

I cased the idea from my friend Dawn Olchefske; changing it up a bit.  The main floral image is stamped twice (once upside down) and the greeting covers where they meet.  You can see this image in the stamp set below. 

It might look like there's an entire strip of designer paper under the main card layers.  But it's just a few small pieces of the Rustic Harvest DSP at the top & bottom of the Vanilla card. Check out the Hello Harvest bundle here.  

HELLO HARVEST BUNDLE (ENGLISH) Save

I colored the floral image in with Blends markers in Daffodil, Fresh Freesia, Light Old Olive and Calypso Coral.  I also added a bit of color to the pretty greeting banner.  

Measurements are: 

  • Vanilla 5 ½” X 8 ½”, 3 ½” X 4 ½” & scrap for greeting
  • Espresso 3 5/8” X 4 5/8”
  • DSP is 1” X 2 ¼”

  • Summer Shadow dies & Shaded Summer; a beautiful pairing!

    I'm sharing our Flowerbug Team swaps featuring Sale-a-Bration choices. This amazing card was  created by Paula. 

    She used the Summer Shadow dies seen here along with the Shaded Summer stamp set. This stamp set is in the Annual Catalog on page 75 and the dies are a free choice during SAB/Sale-a-Bration. However remember that these dies are expected to sell out before the end of September when SAB ends.  See them here.

    This is also a fun fold card.  Her Black card is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and is scored at 2 1/8" X 4 1/4".  The front left panel is folded back.

    Look at the many layers of die-cuts she added here!  Lots of Vellum along with Polished Pink ink and Just Jade & Soft Succulent card stock & inks. Placing the die-cuts on Black really brings out the color & details.

  • Unique Triangle Gate-fold card with video

    Check out this fabulous fun fold card that shows off both sides of your Designer Paper!

    I had a request to do a video for it so I featured it in this week's Stamp with Me Live on Monday night. If you aren't following me on FB here's the link to my page. 

    Here is the card made with the Peaceful Prints DSP in the Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here.  Right now it's FREE with a $50 order during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-Bration promotion. It coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle.  I punched the deer on the front panel right from this paper!

    The card on the above right is made with the Peaceful Prints specialty DSP.  I added a few wreaths cut from the Seasonal Swirl dies – one in Black and one in Silver.  

    Watch the video below to see how it's made.  It's actually quite easy and really does showcase both sides of your 2-sided Designer Paper!
