Unique Triangle Gate-fold card with video

Check out this fabulous fun fold card that shows off both sides of your Designer Paper!

I had a request to do a video for it so I featured it in this week's Stamp with Me Live on Monday night. If you aren't following me on FB here's the link to my page. 

Here is the card made with the Peaceful Prints DSP in the Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here.  Right now it's FREE with a $50 order during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-Bration promotion. It coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle.  I punched the deer on the front panel right from this paper!

The card on the above right is made with the Peaceful Prints specialty DSP.  I added a few wreaths cut from the Seasonal Swirl dies – one in Black and one in Silver.  

Watch the video below to see how it's made.  It's actually quite easy and really does showcase both sides of your 2-sided Designer Paper!

  • Happy 20th Stamp-aversary to me!

    It's been 20 years since I joined Stampin' Up! this month.  It's hard to imagine my life without the benefit of all of my friends, team members and customers.

  • Awesome Dance with Me fun fold card

    Look at this gorgeous fun fold card Karen made for our Sale-a-Bration Team swap this month!

    She used the Dance with Me stamp set and the Floral Delight designer paper.  I love the spotlight technique she did too!  You can see an example of it in the SAB catalog here.  This neat spotlight technique is done with masking paper and a blending brush. It's so easy! 

    This set is free through February with any $60 purchase.

    Her colors include Pool Party, White & Daffodil Delight.  She used the Stylish Shapes dies to create her window fun fold effect.  The greeting is from the Day to Celebrate stamp set; also from Sale-a-Bration.

    I plan to create this fun fold next month but in the meantime here are her measurements:

    • Card base 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
    • White inside 8" X 5 " scored at 2", 3 1/2" & 5 1/2"
    • DSP front is 4" X 5 1/4", inside 1 1/4" X 4 3/4"
    • large circle die-cut is 3", white for the dancing couple is 2 1/2"
