Unique Triangle Gate-fold card with video

Check out this fabulous fun fold card that shows off both sides of your Designer Paper!

I had a request to do a video for it so I featured it in this week's Stamp with Me Live on Monday night. If you aren't following me on FB here's the link to my page. 

Here is the card made with the Peaceful Prints DSP in the Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here.  Right now it's FREE with a $50 order during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-Bration promotion. It coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle.  I punched the deer on the front panel right from this paper!

The card on the above right is made with the Peaceful Prints specialty DSP.  I added a few wreaths cut from the Seasonal Swirl dies – one in Black and one in Silver.  

Watch the video below to see how it's made.  It's actually quite easy and really does showcase both sides of your 2-sided Designer Paper!

  • Seriously the Best Cards with Golden Honey Folio gift pouch & video

    I made this gorgeous cards & folio pouch project two weeks ago on Facebook Live.  Join me each Tuesday at 11 am CT.  Follow my FB page here.

    I chose to use the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Paper for my color inspiration.  It's Black, White with Gold foil accents. Measurements and details are below.

    As you can see I made a few cards with just black, white and gold. Then I added color on the other with Melon Mambo & used just the black and white DSP.  You can add any of your favorite colors to this pretty paper; Black and White is just the beginning!

    Here are the measurements for the folio pouch and cards.

    • Folio is 8 1/2" X 11".  Score on the long side at 5 1/4" and 5 3/4". Score on the short side at 6 1/2".
    • DSP on the front is 4 1/2" X 5 3/4" and the white layer is 4 5/8" X 6" 
    • Cards measure 4 1/4" X 9"; scored at 5 1/2". DSP is 3 1/4" X 4" and 1 7/8" X 4".

  • Positive Thoughts; This or That?

    I made two versions of this card; one for a swap and another for a card class. Which do you prefer?

    I did have trouble getting a good photo of the actual colors on this one.  I added Petal Pink/Champagne ribbon and Champagne rhinestones to this one. I cannot resist adding these when I can.  They're beautiful!

  • Pleased as Punch Cards kit to go; bright and springy!

    For February I chose to feature the new Pleased as Punch designer paper for my cards kit to go.  It's bright and springy and coordinates with 4 of our newest punches!  The Tulip, Umbrella, Heart Punch pack and new Blossom punches are the four. 

     
    I absolutely love these cards! All of the 5 designs are unique fun fold cards which are always a delight to create and fun for the recipient.  Here's a photo of the Pleased as Punch designer paper; available now!  
    *You do not need to own the punches to complete these cards.  They are easy to fussy cut!

    I used the following inks: Gorgeous Grape, Balmy Blue and Calypso Coral.
