Unique Triangle Gate-fold card with video

Check out this fabulous fun fold card that shows off both sides of your Designer Paper!

I had a request to do a video for it so I featured it in this week's Stamp with Me Live on Monday night. If you aren't following me on FB here's the link to my page. 

Here is the card made with the Peaceful Prints DSP in the Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here.  Right now it's FREE with a $50 order during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-Bration promotion. It coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle.  I punched the deer on the front panel right from this paper!

The card on the above right is made with the Peaceful Prints specialty DSP.  I added a few wreaths cut from the Seasonal Swirl dies – one in Black and one in Silver.  

Watch the video below to see how it's made.  It's actually quite easy and really does showcase both sides of your 2-sided Designer Paper!

  • Reflection Technique with Mountain Air

    I honestly didn't know I'd enjoy creating with the Mountain Air bundle as much as I do.  I didn't think it would be so easy to work with!  

    Even this reflection technique is simple to create.  Do you know why?  Because of the reversible nature of these stamps.  The mountain image is textured on one side, creating the pretty mountain peaks on this card.  The mountain shadow/reflection on the water is made with the same stamp but using the solid side.

    This card is part of my free written projects tutorial for anyone who placed an online order from me in March.  And it's also free to anyone who orders the Mountain Air bundle too!  You can see this bundle here. 

    If you order it in March you can get a free Sale-a-Bration choice! Below I show each stamp in three ways.  First is the detailed side of the stamp, next is the flat side and lastly you see them together.  Reversible stamps are so neat and Stampin' Up! is super clever to create them! 

     

    Mountain Air set. Save

    Details for the card above:

    1.  I stamped the mountains first, then the trees underneath. 
    2.  I turned the trees stamp upside down and without reinking, stamped them again for a reflection. 
    3.  Next the mountain reflection. 
    4.  Lastly I sponged a bit of light blue on the sky and darker blue for water.  
    5. The greetings are from the Well Written dies and Well Said stamp set. 
    6. Colors are Mossy Meadow, Pacific Point and Smoky Slate

  • Well Dressed; a great manly stamp set!

    How are you all doing?  Staying home and safe; if you can?  I know some people have to work and those of us who are not really appreciate you!  I feel for you!  It's a scary world out there right now.  Hopefully a little craft therapy will help you stay in a positive state of mind. It's a unique situation that we've never dealt with before.  We're just not used to being restricted!  

    Here's a cute card perfect for the men in our lives.  It's made with the new Well Dressed stamp set seen here in the 2nd release of Sale-a-Bration products.

    I believe it's Smoky Slate with Basic Gray and a pop of Crushed Curry and Pool Party.  The images are all stamped on die-cut Stitched Rectangles.  Behind those is a piece of Neutrals designer paper.  I've been featuring this paper the last few days since I know many people haven't noticed it in our annual catalog. We have patterns in every single color we carry in 6 X 6" packs!

  • Fun Fold Cards with Flowering Foils specialty DSP

    There's a simple way to change up a white foil accented paper into colored foil paper.  With the direct to ink technique.  'What's that?'  It's where you tap or rub the ink pad directly onto your paper.  Yes; you can do that! Look at these cards that feature the Flowering Foils specialty designer series paper.  This gorgeous paper is still in stock and it's FREE with any $50 order!

    All but the bottom right card has been 'inked' with a water based ink pad.  On the upper left is Calypso Coral, the top right is Black memento and the bottom left is Bermuda Bay and Pool Party.
