Unique fun fold card with the new Regal Winter suite – free project sheet & video too

I shared the neatest fun fold card on last week's video.  It features the upcoming new suite called Regal Winter from the Holiday Catalog.  This catalog goes live on Wednesday, September 4th.

My colors were inspired by the beautiful Regal Winter designer series paper. Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss & White.

It looks like a normal card front doesn't it?  It's not!  The right side has a fold to it and the edge is tucked under the diagonal layer.

Isn't that neat?  And it's super easy to make too, but to understand it you may have to watch the video below. Or click here to see it.

Here's the view of the inside once opened.  That center Blackberry Layer is attached to only the left side. The DSP strip is centered on it and helps you center the whole piece between the two outer flaps.  It's easy; watch the video!

**I'll be sharing two more pretty cards featuring this new suite on Tuesday's FB Live video (Sept 3rd). If you're on Facebook I hope you're following me.  If not find me here.

I created a free project sheet for you; click on the following link to download or print it.  Download Regal Flora Diagonal Latch card

Below is the video for this card and another neat idea with the Full of Life DSP. Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube Channel while you're there.  I post a new video each week!

  • Beautiful Fall card swaps!

Look at these stunning swaps made by my Team.  Our theme for September's swap was autumn cards.

Annette created this first one using a innovative sponging technique

I'm sure you cannot guess how she did this …..!

It features the Welcoming Woods stamp set seen here. She used a variety of colors like Highland Heather, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry and Misty Moonlight.

Here's how she did it: She gathered up a sheet of plastic wrap and dabbed it in ink a few times.  Then she dabbed it horizontally across her stamped image piece.  With each color change, she re-rolled the plastic wrap & blended the previous one a bit to achieve a beautiful sunset look.

She added some of the leaves from the stamp set to the inside as well.

This next card made by Karen features a bunch of beautiful metallic products!

    • Detailed Pumpkin dies seen here
    • Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed dots
    • Paper Lattice (annual catalog)
    • Copper Foil sheets (annual catalog)
    • Tasteful Textiles embossing folder
    • Vellum card stock

  • Gorgeous Leaves paired with the Timber embossing folder

Today I get to share two cards made by my talented Team members who used the beautiful Gorgeous Leaves bundle seen here.  I shared a bunch earlier this week as well. Click here to see them.

First is a beautiful card made by Marilyn.  Her colors include Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Old Olive & Crushed Curry.

It's hard to see in this photo but after she stamped the background she ran it through the die-cutting machine with the Timber embossing folder.

Her die-cut leaves are darker than the normal hues since she sponged the corresponding color over each one.  Neat effect!

    Measurements:

    • Crumb Cake 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • Cajun Craze 3 3/4" X 5" & Stitched So Sweetly die-cut 2 1/2" X 3 5/8"
    • Vanilla 3 1/2" X 4 3/4" & 2 1/8" X 3 1/4"

Next is a lovely card made by Deloris. She also used the Timber embossing folder seen here.

She also added a strip of the Cork specialty paper.  This paper can be found in the Holiday catalog on page 55.  It sure adds a neat touch to autumn or men's cards!

Her colors include Early Espresso, Cajun Craze & Bumblebee.

    Measurements:

    • Early Espresso card 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
    • Cajun Craze 3 3/4" X 5"
    • White 3 1/4" X 4 1/2"
    • Cork 1" X 4 1/2"
    • Bumblebee 1/4" X 4 1/2" strip
