A special Trusty Tools Double-box fun fold card – free project sheet & video tutorial

We made this fabulous men's fun-fold card at my January Card Clubs; I also shared it on last week's Live video too.

It features Gray Granite, Crushed Curry, Poppy Parade & White plus a bit of our Holographic specialty paper for the wrench die-cut.  

This double box fun fold card can be positioned two ways – horizontal like this or vertical where the left box is the bottom. 

A few details:

  • All 3 die-cuts on the front are from the Trusty Tools bundle & die set.
  • The neat textured Gray Granite layer is Metal Place 3D embossing folder. 
  • The tool designer paper is the Trusty Toolbox 12" DSP – seen here.  It's free during Sale-a-Bration with any $50 purchase.  I'm actually surprised they haven't run out of it yet!!

  • 3 unique Honeybee Home card ideas

    This week I'm featuring cards made by my talented Flowerbug's Team. Today both cards showcase the Honeybee Home bundle seen here.

    This first card was made by Candace.  She is a master at coloring & sponging as you can see.

    She stamped & die-cut the floral image multiple times for a pretty bouquet and adhered them to her beautiful sponged background.  The gorgeous sky background is done with Pacific Point ink and a very light hand at sponging. She colored the flowers with watercolor pencils.

    Next is a totally different card made by Annette for our Monochromatic swap this month.

    She stamped the bee and greeting in Crumb Cake ink onto a Stitched Rectangle die-cut.  Then added a few die-cuts from the Honeybee Blooms dies and layered it on a Crumb Cake layer. Simply beautiful!

    Mary made this next card with this same bundle along with the Heart & Home designer paper.

    She used 3 layers of this pretty paper as a background for her dies & greeting.  Great idea!

    Her colors are Pale Papaya & Garden Green. The White greeting tag is one of my favorite 'go to' punches called the Tailored Tag punch. 

    Measurements:

    • White card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • Pale Papaya 3 3/4" X 5"
    • DSP layers 1 1/2" X 3 1/2"

  • Last of 3 ideas with the Friendly Hello Sale-a-Bration bundle; treat box & video

    I've been sharing the projects I made on last week's FB Live and this is the last one.  It's a pretty treat box that's actually quite easy to make.

    Here are both together. I used the same stamps & Designer paper but look how different they are!  Black glittered ribbon vs sheer Pool Party ribbon also makes a difference in the overall look.
