July 17, 2024

Summer can be a quiet month for stampers in the north – we finally get a chance to enjoy the outdoors without snow. But I imagine in the south it's time to gather indoors! Isn't our world wonderfully diverse?

Pansy Petals cards kit to go; pretty & spring-like!

May 6, 2021
The new Pansy Petals designer paper is so pretty it was easy to create beautiful, eye catching cards with it.

Save

Here are a few reasons why I love this new Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper:
- It has three different sheets of gingham; all in the new In Colors
- There are full sheets filled with life-like pansies and pretty leaves
- The pansy dies coordinate with these flowers and leaves! No fussy cutting if you have them.
- It features each of the 5 beautiful, new In Colors!!
Anyway; this pre-cut kit to go is available through May May 18th. There is also a pdf tutorial available.

This kit includes the following:
- 1/2 pkg of Pansy Petals DSP (6" X 12")
- 2021-23 In Color jewels
- Soft Succulent ribbon
- 10 pre-cut cards; 3 of the 5 designs are fancy folds!
- the PDF tutorial including measurements, photos, supply list & step by step directions
The kit does not include pre-stamped images, adhesive or stamps. I used the Pansy Patch bundle for greetings and the dies to cut out the flowers & leaves from the DSP. You can also fussy cut them if you choose to.

*This kit will likely be mailed in early June due to a back-order on the In Color jewels.

I was playing around with the new In Colors and the pretty new Quiet Meadow Bundle and created this pretty card:

I wanted to see if I could add colored flowers to the green die-cuts. It was actually very easy to do! I cut the entire dies in Soft Succulent and then cut mostly the flowers in the colors. I then trimmed the flowers to add to the stems.

You can get a similar effect if you die-cut everything in White CS and then add color by sponging. I'll try that sometime soon and share the results.

I used the new In Colors of Soft Succulent, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya and Polished Pink. The only one I didn't use is Evening Evergreen. That pretty greeting die is also included in these Meadow dies! Can you see the shimmer on the flowers? I added a bit of Wink of Stella. The embossing folder is Tasteful Textile.
