Stunning Meandering Meadow card kit to go; or get the PDF tutorial

Today I'm sharing another set of gorgeous cards in a pre-cut card kit to go in December.  The stunning water-colored Meandering Meadow designer paper sure makes it easy to create beautiful projects!

You will need stamps, ink, adhesives and a paper trimmer to cut your new designer paper.  I design my kits so you can easily substitute your own greetings.

  • Circle Celebration Easy 8 Card Wonder Kit to Go!

    As you know I love creating One Sheet Wonders.  I have created lots of them in the years I've been a demonstrator.  I create the cards and my husband makes the templates.  You can see them all here in my Shop.  

    For these cards I used my Easy 8 Card Wonder template and the Circle Celebration stamp set.  You can see the stamp set here.

    The colors are Poppy Parade, Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight.  I wanted them to be bright and happy celebratory cards. I think I succeeded! 

    For the greetings I used the stamp sets Many Mates & Itty Bitty Birthdays but you can easily substitute what you own. 

    Here's a look at how I made the main 'wonder' piece.  I used slightly different colors on this sheet, but it gives you the idea.

    I stamped all over a sheet of 8 1/2" X 11" White card stock; the printed template is on the reverse side.  After stamping I flip it over and cut on the printed lines. Each piece is numbered so I know which one goes with which card in the tutorial.  The PDF tutorial includes measurements for other pieces needed.

    • The printed 8 1/2" X 11" White card stock

    *You will need the inks in the colors stated above (or similar colors), a paper trimmer and adhesive. The kit does not include stamped images, gems or ribbon.

  • Misty Trees Beauty of Friendship card

    With each new catalog I always join several card swaps so I have lots of samples to share with my customers.  

    Here's one I created featuring the Beauty of Friendship Bundle.

    The colors are the new In Colors of course; Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.  The background stamping is made by stamping the trees several times without reinking. This gives you several hues/generations of ink which creates a misty, grouping of trees.  I love this effect with a 'naked' tree!  It reminds me of my Father-in-Law who loved naked trees.  

    Other details:

    • The greeting is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on a 1" strip of our Vellum card stock.  I immediately heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  Classic (or waterbase) ink does not dry quickly on vellum so you get colored, embossing easily. 
    • The vellum was cut long enough to wrap around the outside edge and adhere to the back side.
    • The dark tree was stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on White CS and die-cut with the Beautiful Trees dies.
