Stunning cards in the Thoughtful Journey kit to go; or choose the PDF tutorial

I couldn't wait to play and create with the gorgeous Thoughtful Journey designer paper.  I think scenic paper like this makes card making a breeze!  I decided to make each card a fancy fold too.

I design my kit around the paper and added supplies so all you need to add is stamped greetings. I chose to use the So Sincere set this time; which you can add on at a discount. 

This incredibly beautiful designer paper is filled with watercolor scenes and backgrounds making is super easy to create with.

  • Alcohol blends technique with video tutorial

    I shared this fun technique on a recent video; I call it the Alcohol Blends Background.

    For the cards above I added pretty floral die-cuts from the Paper Florist dies.  The greetings are from the Kindest Expressions stamp set.  The background colors were made with the following Blends: Left card Mossy Meadow & Lemon Lime Twist. Right card was Berry Burst & Blackberry Bliss.  

    To achieve this cool background you need Blends or alcohol markers and rubbing alcohol in a spritzer bottle. I used regular Basic White card stock and a clear plastic folder to work on. You can watch the video here.  

    I tried many color combinations; you can see some of the finished cards below plus the backgrounds too.

  • Bright & Beautiful Memories & More cards; choose the kit to go or the PDF tutorial

    I LOVE creating with our Memories & More cards and envelopes.

    I knew the Bright & Beautiful cards with the matching cards & envelopes would make great & colorful cards but I am amazed at how fabulous they turned out.  And how quick and fun it was to make them.

  • Earthen Elegance kit to go or get the PDF tutorial option

    I couldn't decide which designer paper to feature for this month's card kit to go. So I did a poll on my Facebook page.  Earthen Elegance won!

    Here are the cards I created: 

    Earthen Elegance all Save

    Three of the five designs are fun fold cards.  It seems like many people like to create these; something you don't get from a store-bought card.  

    I used the Earthen Textures stamp set for my greetings and some Earthen Textures dies too.  You can use any greetings you'd like though. If you'd like to add on the Earthen Textures stamp set or bundle, message me here and I will add it on at a 10% savings. 

    Pretty Peacock was a featured color in three of the five cards; It pairs beautifully with brown tones and vanilla here.  

    The kit includes $20 in product including 1/2 pkg of the Earthen Textures DSP (6" X 12"), a share of the Natural Wavy trim, Neutrals adhesive-backed sequins and 10 vanilla envelopes.  For all that and the pre-cut kit, it's just $28 plus shipping!
