Stunning Amber Autumn card with free project sheet

This is the card we made at my October card clubs:

Isn’t it beautiful? I got the idea from Akemi Geary from Everyday Stamping. I didn’t change much because I loved it that much.
It features the Amber Autumn bundle seen here. That beautiful, detailed background die creates the gorgeous backdrop for the pretty colored images and you can also get multiple leaf die-cuts from it by clipping them apart.

We colored them with Blends markers and added a few die-cut leaves from the Earthen toned Metallic paper seen here. A thin strip of Autumn Toile DSP, the Irregular ribbon & gems finished it off beautifully.

I kept the inside quite simple by stamping a greeting from the Gathering Moments stamp set and adding the acorn & leaves image without coloring it.

I created a free project sheet for you with photo, measurements and products used. Click here to download or print it.

  • Jar of Flowers Double Flap Fun-fold card with video!

The Jar of Flowers bundle is pretty neat and easy to create wonderful cards with.  We made these cards at my June card clubs.  It was sooo great getting together with my gals again. North Dakota is open to events again but we are still being cautious too.

You can really see the details on the card in this close up view.  That neat texture is the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.  The colors are Misty Moonlight with Bumblebee and the In Good Taste designer paper.

There are sooo many wood, texture and patterns in this big pack of In Good Taste paper.  It is amazing!  Here's a good view of this paper.

Here's another version of the card using the jar and water image but the flowers are from the Tasteful Touches stamp set.  This card was for those who didn't want to color. We added punched flowers using the Confetti Flowers Border punch seen here.  After punching we added a dot of Navy ink for the centers.

For this fold all I did was trim off an inch from the card front and add a flap that is hidden by the strip of In Good Taste DSP.  This flap is what the front panel is adhered to. Watch the video below!

The cards are finished off with a greeting from the Lovely You bundle – this is one of my favorite bundles!  I love the Pick a Punch and the Lovely You stamp set is full of wonderful greetings.

    Measurements:

    • Bumblebee card 5 1/2" X 7 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
      In Good Taste DSP 1" X 5 1/2"
White – front and inside 4 1/8" X 3", scrap for greeting is 1/2" wide
      Misty Moonlight 3 1/4" X 4 3/8", flap is 1 3/4" X 3 1/2" scored at 1/2"

  • Blossoms in Bloom; puzzling it together?

Here's an incredible card featuring the Blossoms in Bloom bundle made by my Flowerbug's team member Jacki for a new catalog card swap.

I just love these colors together; Just Jade and Misty Moonlight.

Can you tell that she stamped the large floral image on her White CS using Misty Moonlight?  Then she added die-cut layers in White, Misty Moonlight and Just Jade.  Yes; she cut out three dies for each card and puzzle fit them over the stamped image!!!  Amazing, but stunning!

I believe she cased this card from Pinterest; made by Mary Detherage.

  • Colorful Sunflowers the easy way!

Marilyn made this pretty card with the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set (seen here) for one of our latest Flowerbug's Team swaps.  I believe she found the idea on Pinterest.  I love how it features 4 of our new In Colors!

The card base is Bumblebee.  She added Black card stock and ink to pull the colors together.  Here is a tip: stamp the sunflower on 4 different colored squares and then cut them into smaller squares.  You'll get enough stamped pieces for 4 cards!

    Measurements:

    • Bumblebee card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • White – 5 1/4" X 4"
    • Black 3 3/4" square
    • Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Cinnamon Cider and Bumblee – 3 1/2" squares for stamping. Then cut into 1 3/4" squares to puzzle piece on each card.
