Still more incredible Fun Fold Team swap cards!

We had sooo many fabulous fancy fold cards at our February Team swap!  I've been sharing a few each day this past week. Please look back to see them all; I'm sharing measurements for each one!

Jacki made this stunning Pinwheel Tower card featuring the Nature's Sweetness Suite:

Her colors include White, Pebbled Path and bit of Gold foil & Vellum. She also added gold pearls and Gold Elegant Trim. The texture is made with the Exposed Brick embossing folder.  The greeting is from the Charming Sentiments bundle.

See the Nature's Sweetness suite here; it's huge & filled with beautiful stamps, textures & die-cuts.

The picture doesn't do it justice; it's simply stunning! If you haven't made one and want to know how check out this video I shared a while back.

Measurements:

  • Center box is 3 1/4" X 4 1/4"; scored at 1/4", 1", 1 3/4", 2 1/2"
  • 4 pieces at 2" tall X 4 1/4"
  • Designer paper layers are 1 1/8" & 1 7/8" – 2 each of 2 patterns

Next is another incredible card made by Jonna who chose the Gone Fishing bundle seen here.

She paired it with the Let's Go Fishing designer paper & Twisted Rope 3D embossing folder. This is an entire suite in the Annual catalog and could retired in April. See it all here.

When you open up her card it's a gift card.  What a great men's card idea!

Measurements:

  • Navy card base 5 1/2" X 4 1/4", folded layer is 4 1/2" X 9 3/4" scored at 3 1/4" & 6 1/2"
  • Designer paper – striped on front is cut with the Deckled Rectangles – finished size is 5 1/8" X 3 3/4", inside gift card is 4 1/4" X 2 1/4"
  • White front – Deckled Rectangle die-cut is 3 7/8" X 2 5/8" finished, center white is 4 1/4" X 3"

Oh; this one is so beautiful!  Tracey made this one with the One Horse Open Sleigh designer paper.

This fold is my absolute favorite way to show off our scenic papers!  the card base has one extra score line and you cut your paper into pieces from left to right so when the card opens it's a full scene!

I LOVE her heat embossed greeting; it's fussy cut into multiple pieces and added with mini dimensionals; what a fabulous effect!  The texture on the front left panel is the Exposed Brick 3D emboss folder seen here.

Measurements:

  • Misty Moonlight card base 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" score at 1 1/2" & 4 1/4", second textured layer is 1" X 5 1/4"
  • Designer paper is 6" X 5 1/4" tall. Cut from left to right at 2 3/4" & 4"

This pretty paper was available online but is sadly gone now.  *Our Online Exclusives are available while supplies last.

I shared how to make this card on a video a few months back. See it here.

  • A WOW card with Swirled Designs

This is one of those cards you will not soon forget; the Swirled Designs bundle is so cool!

See what I mean? The colors include Blueberry Bushel, Shaded Spruce & White. Striking, bold colors for a celebratory card. The stars are die-cuts from the Swirled Designs dies.

The Swirled Designs bundle was a sleeper; not many people have used it. But once you do…. you’ll want to use it over and over. See the stamp set here and the dies here. You can choose the bundle here, but the dies are discounted which makes it almost the same cost to order separately. It’s on the Last Chance list unfortunately; only available while supplies last.

For the greetings I used the Reason to Celebrate stamp set. Wonderful and specific greeting images you will love. See it here.

It’s a simple fun fold card where you score the front one extra time. I used the Garden Poetry DSP for the left side panel. That’s where I got the idea for my colors.

  • Gorgeous Petals of Beauty fun fold card with video

This pretty card was a big favorite of my club gals in March.

It features the Brushed with Beauty suite which includes many items that are now on the Last Chance list!
The Petals of Beauty bundle was used mostly for the stamped images and die-cuts. See it here.

My card base is Very Vanilla with the following additional colors: Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink, Darling Duckling.

Look at the airy Vanilla flower petal die-cuts above. They are not meant to match which I love!

You cannot tell but there is a window sheet sandwiched between the top and bottom layers. It adds a bit of surprise to the card. The rounded leaf die-cut is cut from the new Wood Grain Wonders 12 X 12″ specialty paper seen here. It has a very faint wood grain to each sheet in all wood tones. I added a bit of Mossy Meadow ink to the one on the right above.

I added designer paper to the inside layers as well; all from the Brushed with Beauty DSP seen here.

If you’d like the free project sheet click on this link to download or print it.

  • Great cards made with the Celebration Expression Memories & More pack

I hadn’t touched the Celebration Expression Memories & More cards yet; so I found an hour or so to create these:

Aren’t they fun? These printed Memories & More cards come in both 4″ X 6″ and 3″ X 4″ cards. They are discounted and retiring! See them here. I did use the ‘Memories & More cards and envelopes’ as the card bases which made it super simple. These cards are a nice size – 4 1/4″ X 6 1/4″ which is larger than our traditional size. They are now in the last chance list and retiring soon!

You’re likely wondering where the greetings came from. And I didn’t stamp a thing! Each of the greetings came from the Saying Something Ephemera pack. These are fabulous! They’re also discounted, in low inventory right now and will likely retire soon. See them here.

I’ll share these cards in sets of 4 next:

I did add a few layers of card stock on these cards to bring some solid backgrounds to the greetings. I also added some rhinestone gems & ribbons – Balmy Blue gingham, Timid Tiger 1/4″ and Bubble Bath 1/8″ ribbons.

It was so much fun to simply play with the cards, layering them or adding CS strips here & there. What a perfect way to create without a lot of product. This would be perfect to take to a crop or crafty play day with friends.
