Spring Retreat; get it in a bag ‘to go’!

Due to the current pandemic our Spring Retreat has been changed to a kit to go.  Sadly I won't get to pamper my gals at the event but everyone can stamp safely in the comfort of your own home.  I have a bunch of fabulous projects, gifts and surprises planned for the kits to go!

Cost is $45 and includes the following:
– $20 in Stampin' Up! products (including the Well Dressed Designer paper) and 20 projects!!
– a pre-cut cards and gifts class with 12 projects (including 8 fun fold cards!) with envelopes
– a Birthday cards class with 8 cards with envelopes
– printed tutorials for both classes!

  • My Sale-a-Bration & New Catalog open house displays

    I don't think I shared my displays & boards from my January New Catalog Open House yet!  

    Some are my own cards but many of these projects are swaps I received.  

    First is my 2022 Sale-a-Bration display table.

  • The easy way to do the Whitewashing Technique; with video

    I've been playing with the Whitewashing Technique lately. Today I'm sharing a card I made on Facebook Live with the Honeybee Home bundle.

    Please watch the video to see how to do this.  Here are some tips:

    • I stamped the main image using Gorgeous Grape ink onto the same color card stock.
    • Let it dry a bit and color the image in with White Craft ink and a water painter brush.
    • If you want to see the stamped image you'll want to use a light amount of White Craft ink. 
    • I add water to some White Craft ink in a puddle and use that to 'paint'.  
    • You can paint with strokes to indicate lines on your image.

    I used the Heart & Home doilies under the Tasteful Label die-cut.  

    The background paper is the Simply Marbelous Sale-a-Bration DSP that I added a bit of Highland Heather ink to.
