Spotlight on Nature fun fold card; free project sheet & video tutorial

Today I'm sharing the second card I created on last week's Live video.  Both feature new in colors and the Spotlight on Nature bundle.

SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE BUNDLE Save

This card really shows off the two embossing folders I used.  On the card below I used the Dotted Circles 3D folder seen here. It's an extra large folder (6" X 8 1/2") that has very deep texture.  It's Shy Shamrock with Pretty in Pink. The designer paper is the Unbounded Beauty.

The card below features the Eyelet 3D folder which is quite pretty & delicate. See it here. This card is Petunia Pop with Shy Shamrock. 

Do you notice the difference in the greetings?  I fussy cut one to add to the In Color Glimmer paper and the other I simply trimmed the ends at an angle.

  • Another Positive thoughts card; in a unique color combination

    I have no idea where I came up with this color combination.  I started out with the Petal Pink because I wanted to use the gorgeous champagne edged ribbon.  Maybe I was avoiding green; but the Basic Gray looks beautiful with the Petal Pink!

    The Positive Thoughts stamp set is so easy to play with; the images are soft yet detailed which is totally my style. That embossing folder is called 'Coastal Weave'.  It's a free gift to everyone who places an online order over $65 this month (detailed below).

  • Stitched So Sweetly & Positive Thoughts

    Yesterday I shared one version of this card and here is the other.  I had extra background pieces stamped so I tried something else.

  • Sending Positive Thoughts; love this new stamp set!

    This Positive Thoughts stamp set seems to be a 'sleeper' to some people but it caught my eye right away!  Everyone asked where the stamp set was when they saw my cards.

    I knew I could make pretty cards with the images; the leaves, flower and feather are perfect with lots of fine details. But the greetings; they are some I will definitely get a lot of use of.

    This soft, botanical card is one I made for an online swap I participated in.  I used Mint Macaron, Pretty Peacock and of course the pretty Petal Pink. The new champagne rhinestones and Petal Pink/Champagne ribbon was color inspiration.
