Split Panel card with All Wrapped Up DSP; with free project sheet too

October 20, 2026

Today I’m sharing another version of this neat split panel card. This time it’s a Christmas card.

The All Wrapped Up specialty DSP can be seen here. I love this plaid!

The Shining Stars dies are our October Product of the Month. They’re just $5 with any Stampin’ Up! order (once your order reaches the $75 mark). There are 23 dies in this set! What a fabulous deal this is! See them here.

The greeting is from the Noel Tidings stamp set; the greeting label is from the Nested Essentials dies seen here.

I used Secret Sea card stock for my card base. The stars are cut from the Timeless Metallic specialty paper seen here.

Here’s now I finished the inside; all images are from the Noel Tidings stamp set seen here.

I created a free project sheet you can download or print. Click here to access it. It includes photos, measurements, step by step directions and a list of supplies. You can see both versions in the project sheet or below:

And below is the video tutorial for this card and the other version I shared yesterday.

Inlaid technique video with Mountain View!

February 28, 2020
This gorgeous card was one of our January Card Club projects. Of course I love the colors of Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green and Pretty Peacock.

I cased the idea from Cheryl Miller at Sense of Whimsy.

Here's how to make this pretty card.
1. First die-cut two trees from the main White panel one on the upper left and one on the lower right.
2. I sponged one of these die-cut white trees with Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple ink for the center tree.
3. Then die-cut two more trees from the Lily Impressions designer paper (free with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration).
4. Adhere the White panel to the Coastal Cabana panel and then to the main Green card base.
5. Insert the two die-cut trees into the left and right die-cut areas for an inlaid effect. (I recommend Fine Tip glue or Multipurpose adhesive)
6. There's a trick to getting this unique greeting shape with the Tailored Tag punch. I share it on the video below.
7. I used the Sending you Thoughts stamp set and heat embossed the greeting.
Watch the video below for many more tips on creating this fabulous card.

Over the Moon Fun-Fold card

February 27, 2020
My friend Marilyn made this card for a swap with her Card Club this month. Many of my Club gals swap cards every other month. They are loving this and actually 'using' their products!

It's made with the 'Over the Moon' stamp set seen here.

Isn't it cute? It's a fun fold card where the front panel swings open on the bottom.

The black spots look like patterned paper but they're stamped using the 'Love What You Do' stamp set seen here. Aren't they perfect?!!!

Positive Thoughts with Nature’s Thoughts dies; stamp once but get two layers!

February 26, 2020

These pretty cards were made on one of my recent Facebook Live videos. See it here:

The Positive Thoughts stamp set is easily a big favorite from the January – June Mini catalog. And now we have dies that coordinate with it called Nature's Thoughts; see them here.

I stamped both white layers at the same time; I believe this technique is called double (or triple) time stamping. After stamping I sponged the edges and used the stitched rectangle die from the Nature's Thoughts set to cut out the top layer. Next add it to the next layer before adding to your card. Easy!

The colors here are Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape. See the detail on the dies here? Gorgeous!

These colors are Blueberry Bushel with Bermuda Bay. I also sponged the die-cut feathers and sponged those too. That little butterfly is also from the Nature's Thoughts dies.

These dies are part of the Coordination Product Release available now; while supplies last. Here's a link to the Positive Thoughts stamp set.
