Snowman Magic WOW card; amazing work by Candace!

Last weekend we held our monthly Flowerbug's Team swap. Our theme was fun folds! I know you're going to love seeing their wonderful creations.

Today I'm sharing two cards featuring the Santa Express designer paper. This first is made by Candace. She used the Snowman Magic bundle seen here in the 2022 Holiday Catalog.

Amazing, right?!

It folds flat for mailing and fits in a standard A2 envelope.

I'm going to do my best to provide the correct card stock measurements for this:

Shaded Spruce 2 pieces at 4" X 6" score on the long sides at 2" & 5 1/2"; turn and score on the short side at 2". Cut up to the score lines and trim off the extra 1/2" strip.
inside pieces are 1" X 5 1/2" scored at 3/4" from both ends. The scored ends are folded and adhered to the outer edges of the box inside.

She used 1/4" strips of Window Sheets to hold up the snowflakes and holly. The snowmen, trees and bunny are adhered to the box and inside strips. It's so darn cute!

Next is another incredible card made by Brenda; she chose to use the Santa Express designer paper also and added the coordinating Santa's Delivery bundle to hers.

It's a side-step fun fold card. She chose to use Petal Pink and Pear Pizzazz for her card base & layers. I love the jumping penguins and that smoke stack!

Here are the measurements:

Card base 5 1/2" X 6" scored in half at 4 1/4". Then make a mark at the 1" and at 6 3/8" at the 3" mark across.
Now you'll cut from those marks down the center of the card.
Next score up to the cut line at 1", 2", 3 1/4" and 6 3/8"

She cut the trains from the Santa Express designer paper using the Santa's Train dies; which coordinate perfectly. The cute penguins & smoke are stamped, colored & die-cut. They're added with 1/4" strips of Window sheets so they pop up and flutter when opened. Just adorable!

Witty-Cisms Fun-Fold card

The Witty-Cisms stamp set is a great all occasions set with fun images and cute greetings to match. See it here. I created this cute card for a recent online card swap.

It's a fun fold card with a double opening. The Real Red flap is scored and the scored edge is adhered under the inside White layer. The Granny Apple Green main card is standard size but 1" is cut off the right edge to reveal the White inside. The new Coastal Weave embossing folder was used on the front. This embossing folder is the one I'm giving to all online orders over $65 in January.

Sometimes with this type of fold I add the designer paper to the inside right edge so it shows from the front. This time I added it to the very front along with a stitched scalloped edge piece die-cut with the Stitched Be Mine dies seen here.

Here are the measurements:
- Granny Apple Green main card 7 1/2" X 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4".
- White inside 4" X 5 1/4"
- Real Red 4" X 2 1/2"
- Black 2 1/4" X 3 1/4"
- 1" X 5 1/2" Granny Apple Green gingham DSP; *from the Brights 6 X 6" DSP pack seen here.
And more details:
- I added a butterfly die-cut from the upcoming Nature's Thoughts dies. They'll be available in February in the Coordination Product Release.
- I stamped the main image three times; once on the White punch and again on Real Red for the strawberry and again on scraps of Green. These are cut out and popped up on the main image.
- White label is the new Label Me Lovely punch seen here. I love this new punch! A 1 3/4" circle punch fits inside it for layering. And oval shapes do as well!

Honey Bee with Golden Honey Designer Paper

I know some people do not like yellow but I always have. When I was young I chose to a yellow and orange them for my bedroom! (The walls were yellow and the only orange were in accents so it wasn't too garish!)

When yellow is paired with Black and White it's a happy and striking color combination in my opinion!

Here I used Daffodil Delight with the pretty Golden Honey Designer series paper. It's one of the free choices during our Sale-a-Bration promotion. I was thrilled to see another black and white designer paper in the offering this year! You can pair it with just about any color! My gals made this card at my New Catalog Stamp a Stack this last Saturday. The new Honey Bee bundle coordinates with this paper beautifully.

Fun Latch Fold card with Music From the Heart

I had to use my friend Dawn Olchefske's new stamp set for January club. It's the set she designed for her million dollars in sales achievement! It's a fabulous music themed set called Music From the Heart. Look!

Look at this fun latch fold card!

The Classic Label punch is perfect to create the 'latch' for this card closure. We did have to widen the opening a bit by punching off to the side an extra 1/4" on each side as I wanted a larger front layer than the punch allows for. If you watch the video below you'll see what I am referring to.

I decided to offer a choice of card themes for my gals; Valentines, Anniversary and Birthday. I used the Heart to Heart set for the Valentine's greeting. This pretty foiled paper is called From the Heart specialty designer paper. You can see it here.

Did you know that you can 'play or stamp' Happy Birthday with the individual notes in this set? Isn't that the best idea ever?! Although creating a 'guitar' from two stamps in this set is even more clever! If you have a musical person in your life you need this set!
