Snowman Magic WOW card; amazing work by Candace!

Last weekend we held our monthly Flowerbug's Team swap. Our theme was fun folds! I know you're going to love seeing their wonderful creations.

Today I'm sharing two cards featuring the Santa Express designer paper. This first is made by Candace. She used the Snowman Magic bundle seen here in the 2022 Holiday Catalog.

Amazing, right?!

It folds flat for mailing and fits in a standard A2 envelope.

I'm going to do my best to provide the correct card stock measurements for this:

Shaded Spruce 2 pieces at 4" X 6" score on the long sides at 2" & 5 1/2"; turn and score on the short side at 2". Cut up to the score lines and trim off the extra 1/2" strip.
inside pieces are 1" X 5 1/2" scored at 3/4" from both ends. The scored ends are folded and adhered to the outer edges of the box inside.

She used 1/4" strips of Window Sheets to hold up the snowflakes and holly. The snowmen, trees and bunny are adhered to the box and inside strips. It's so darn cute!

Next is another incredible card made by Brenda; she chose to use the Santa Express designer paper also and added the coordinating Santa's Delivery bundle to hers.

It's a side-step fun fold card. She chose to use Petal Pink and Pear Pizzazz for her card base & layers. I love the jumping penguins and that smoke stack!

Here are the measurements:

Card base 5 1/2" X 6" scored in half at 4 1/4". Then make a mark at the 1" and at 6 3/8" at the 3" mark across.
Now you'll cut from those marks down the center of the card.
Next score up to the cut line at 1", 2", 3 1/4" and 6 3/8"

She cut the trains from the Santa Express designer paper using the Santa's Train dies; which coordinate perfectly. The cute penguins & smoke are stamped, colored & die-cut. They're added with 1/4" strips of Window sheets so they pop up and flutter when opened. Just adorable!

AMAZING Most Adored Cascading Pleats fancy fold card – with video & free project sheet!

Have you seen or made a 'Cascading Pleats' fun fold card before? They're so cool and actually quite easy to make.

I chose to feature the Most Adored Specialty designer paper for my video projects. On this card I used both the Flirty Flamingo side and the Gold Foiled sides of this pretty paper. See it here. I have full measurements in my free project tutorial below but it will help you a lot to watch the video.

There are three layers and they 'cascade' in sizes from smallest in the front to largest in the back. Each has 2-3 layers.

Okay; are you as amazed by this card as I am?! Candace made this with the Submarine Life bundle.

The bubble paper looks like it's printed but she made it! She stamped on her Pool Party card stock with Pool Party & White craft ink with the bubble image. Incredible!

I'm not positive of the many colors she used here but I know a few include Sweet Sorbet, Blueberry Bushel, Daffodil Delight & Old Olive. She's a huge fan of the Beatles 'Yellow Submarine' so she had to get this bundle!

Measurements:
- Blueberry Bushel 8 1/8" X 5 1/4". Across the top, score at the 1 5/8" mark down to 1 5/8". Score at 3 3/8" down to 3 5/8". Score at 5" down to the bottom of the card. From the bottom side, score at the 6 1/2" up to 1 5/8". Now you'll make two cuts across the center two areas from the score lines.
- Pool Party large squares 3 1/4", small squares 1 1/2" X 2 for the bottom. Top pieces are 1 1/2" X 1 3/4"
- Back white is 3" X 3 3/8"

- Pool Party 6 1/2" X 5 1/2" score at 4 1/4", second flap is 6" X 4 1/4" score at 3 1/8"

- White inside 3 1/2" X 4"
- Poppy Parade circle is 2 1/4"

AMAZING Fun Fold card swaps by my Flowerbug’s Team!!

We held our monthly Team swap last weekend and the them was fun fold cards. Wow; did they ever deliver fabulous cards!!!

First is a sweet card made by Ginny who chose the cute Bee Mine Suite.

Her colors include Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Sweet Sorbet, & Black. She cased the card from quite a few people seen online including Karen Titus & Robyn's Roost.

I absolutely love the tag with the added pocket; it's made with the Tailored Tags dies!

Measurements:
- Daffodil Delight card base is 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" card but scored at 2", 3 1/8", 5 3/8" & 6 1/2".
- Designer paper on the front are 1 3/4" X 5 1/4" for outer areas. middle is 2" X 5 1/4" & the last two beside the middle layer is 7/8" X 5 1/4"

Next is an 'over the top' card made by Sharon who chose the Hooray for Surprises bundle.

She used the Most Adored designer paper from Sale-a-Bration (seen here) and Real Red & White. This specialty designer paper is still available and free with any $50 purchase through February – while supplies last.

Other products used are the Country Bouquet stamp set in the Annual catalog and Classic Matte dots

Measurements:
- Card base 11" X 5 1/2", 1 3/4", 3 1/2", 5 1/4" & 7".
- 2nd layer under heart & curved rectangle die-cuts is 4 1/2" X 1 1/2" scored at 2 1/4".
- She adhered two curvy rectangle die-cuts (from the Nested Essential dies) over this.
- DSP – 2 pieces at 1 1/2" X 5 1/4"
- White 3 3/4" X 5 1/4"
The Hooray for Surprises bundle has multiple dies that allow for peek-a-boo surprises. You can see in the photo below that the heart die-cut can be 'pulled' away to reveal a hidden message. There are multiple dies in this set that provide a tear-away element. It's so cool!

Here's a photo of the Hooray for Surprises bundle; even with out the peek-a-boo elements I love the stamped images and dies! *see the perforations on the large dies? That provides the tear away aspect.

Next is a sweet card made by Joan; it was her first card swap with us as she joined my Flowerbug's Team in January! She did an incredible job too!

She chose to feature the Sweet Songbirds stamp set & coordinating Songbird Builder punch. See the stamp set here and the punch here; they used to be a bundle but are now sold separately.

She designed a fun fold I haven't seen before! It's a Dutch door fold with an added top flap. So amazing for her first swap!

Measurements:
- Pretty Peacock – 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" for back, front layer 3 1/4" X 4", greeting layer 3 1/2" X 1 1/4"
- Pool Party – lower fold is 8" X 1 3/4" scored at 4", upper fold is 4" X 7" scored at 3 1/2"
- White front 3 X 3 3/4", front of inside flap is 3" X 2", inside 3 3/4" X 3 1/4", greeting 3 1/4" X 1"
- scraps of White, Lemon Lime Twist & Pecan Pie for leaves, nest & bird
